If you are on cruise line, it takes 45 min to get to this event starting point. Cruise ship docks at 8 and you get off at 830. Then take a bus to general drop off point. Then you need a taxi to get to the event bus location. There are only 4 cabs available! Good luck. We tried the times to contact Viator and did not get a response that works (eMail never got to mee).

The 1 hour cruise on Loch Ness was very pleasant - modern, large ferry, tables inside to eat our lunch, and plenty of commentary provided during the cruise. Spent about 1 enjoyable hour walking around the castle ruins. Would recommend this trip. Good value. Very good experience.

Exceeded our expectations. My college-age young adults said it has been their favorite tour on the trip.

Definitely be prepared for windy conditions on the Loch Ness cruise! And time is limited at Urquhart Castle so don’t dawdle in order to see all of it!
