  Excellent views across the loch and fun facts shared aboard! Fantastic weather for the trip which also helped, a nice peaceful cruise and stroll around the castle ruins.

  This was the perfect way to explore Loch Ness!! I thoroughly enjoyed the boat tour and it helped that the weather was fantastic. Urquhart castle was a must and it was the perfect amount of time to explore. And the museum was a fun way to end the experience!

  The boat trip across Loch Ness was beautiful. Cozy crew on board. The castle actually turned out to be a huge ruin. The location is beautiful. The Loch Ness visitor center nicely designed.   perfectly planned tour from start to end. Great driver/guide full of interesting storys of Inverness and the Highlands. A entertaining sail on the Loch Ness to the ruins of urquhart Castle and a visit af the Loch Ness experience center. all with plenty time to enjoy and explore the stops. and at the end an added visit to some highland cows, an unexpected but fantastic bonus.

  

  

  

  

  

• Poor Communication

  This was a very frustrating experience. We were given very little information ahead of time. The meeting time listed in the booking was 9:30 AM. It was easy to find the meeting location, but upon our arrival, there was no one to be found. It turns out, they DEPART at 9:30 AM, or earlier. We were expecting to meet and check in at 9:30, and depart after everyone arrived. There were no attempts made to communicate with us, and they just left us. This needs to be clearly explained. I understand that they’re on a specific schedule, based around the charter boat’s schedule, and that wouldn’t be a problem if it were explained. Had they said meet at 9, for a strict departure just before 9:30, we would have easily adhered to the schedule. The woman we spoke to on the phone about the situation was very kind, but the company would not permit any kind of refund. They ended up allowing us to join a simpler, less expensive tour but did not pay us back the difference. Overall very poor communication, and you’d probably be better off just driving yourself to the included activities. And would save a lot of money.

  The day was beautiful, the bus amazingly clean and comfortable, the locations of the tour was breathtaking, really enjoyed the cruise on Loch Ness, the Driver very friendly and very knowledgeable. 5* tour
