4.00This quick tour of Loch Ness and Urquhart was perfect for a free afternoon. The boat ride was lovely and the guide was informative and entertaining. There were no sightings of Nessie, unfortunately. Urquhart castle was interesting and the gift shop well stocked. Our bus driver back to Inverness was great- he had the local tea on places we passed and shared loads of info with us. He made driving those small back roads with a giant bus look easy.

John the coach driver was outstanding: a careful driver and provider of interesting and charming commentary. The tour started at 09:15 and ended at about 12:50. A great way to spend a long morning around Inverness.
