A genuinely lovely experience from start to finish. The scenery alone would have justified the outing, but even the most beautiful landscape can lose its lustre in the hands of a poor guide. Thankfully, we had Kyle. The proud Glaswegian struck a rare balance between being deeply knowledgeable and entirely unforced. With just three of us on the tour, he personalised the experience to our interests while still honouring the itinerary. We were given a rich wreath of information, from music and history to thoughtful stops and genuinely useful recommendations. Kyle went beyond what was expected, and it showed. The tour felt considered, never commercial :))

Impressive, perfectly organized, such a long trip, with a wonderful and knowledgeable driver who explained us all the natural historical and cultural secrets of the region. Perfect taste of the highlands! The bus was comfortable and we had several stops for restrooms and also sightseeing.

The sights were great, but was not impressed with the tour guide. Also, in their brochure, it said the Loch Ness Cruise was included. When we got on the bus, there was a very hard sell to pay extra for the cruise. I assume the tour guide got a kick-back, because he had a hard time accepting that no-one wanted to pay extra for the cruise. I texted the coprorate office while on the tour and they didn't seem to care that the brochure said the cruise was included. This tour was recommended by my hotel, so I told them about it. They are no longer recommending this tour company.

Great day of discovery in the Highlands. We took the day in a small group (16 people max.) Ron, our driver and guide, was an undeniable added value. His stories, his humour and his encyclopaedic knowledge of the Highlands and the history of Scotland made the tour a journey out of time. We strongly recommend this type of small group visit. And to end the day, we had the chance to watch a sunset over the snow-capped peaks. A must visit during your stay in Edinburgh.

My friend and I went on a tour with Cameron. He was amazing, and both very knowledgeable and witty. He was great at asking us about what we were particularly interested in as well which made the tour feel very personal. We saw beautiful scenery and got so many interesting stories and facts! We had a great time and would recommend to everyone to choose Discover Scotland!

Loch Ness Glencoe and The Highlands was the tour we went on, and Fin was our tour guide. He was absolutely amazing!! He had very interesting stories and an interactive way of telling it. He let us take the scenery in at times and told us history as it pertained to where we were. The company offered small tours unlike other competitors, which was so nice!! I was so grateful I booked with Discover Scotland! Fin remembered the names of my kids and called them out saying “You wanted to see snow, there it is!” Such a nice touch! He was a mix of historian, tour guide, RJ/DJ mixing up some Scottish songs from his play list. An awesome experience and thank you for the experience!!

What a great day trip this was! My adult kids, 24 and 26, and I loved it. Our guide was Jamie and he did a fantastic job with his historical background information, his stories, his enthusiasm and his flexibility. I am a fan of the mini-coach - this one held up to 16, I think, though our group was a little smaller, for the maneuverability, the quick on/off at the stops and the more personal environment. Thank you Jamie for sharing some of Scotland's most beautiful landscape with us!
