Visit the Highlands with a Kilted Scotsman! Starting from Edinburgh. As your tour is private you are in charge of the places you want to visit and how much time you would like to spend at each site! We recommend an early start to take full advantage of the day at 7:30am from your accommodation however if you wish to start the tour at 8:30am this is also fine. Once booked we can potentially extend your tour for a second day and stay in Inverness or Aberdeen so you have even more time to explore the Highlands. So what can you expect? Beautiful scenery? Yes! Scottish history? Absolutely! A perfect playlist and maybe even some karaoke in the minibus? We'll have to wait and see! Once booked your guide will contact you to arrange the pick-up time and location, discuss the interests of your group and help with booking any visitor attractions you may be interested in visiting along the way. Entry fee prices can be found online for all visitor attractions and we are happy to help with this.

This was a fantastic private tour with Lewis. It couldn’t have been better! He made sure we did everything we wanted to do and was very knowledgeable about Scottish history which made it informative as well as enjoyable.

Lewis’ tour was a phenomenal experience! His knowledge and passion of history is paired exquisitely with his real-time local experience and desire to serve the client. His single objective is the enjoyment of the client and his entire skill set supports that endeavor. He was the ONLY tour that would take our 1 and 5 year old children and he was patient and accommodating at every turn. There is no better experience to be had than an Anderson Tour!

Lewis was great. Very knowledgeable about Scottish history. Customize our tour to fit in more then advertised. We were a family of 6! Long day, lots of driving, but worth every minute. Ended with a Loch Lomand whiskey out of a bull horn! Delicious 😋 Highly recommend Lewis Anderson - Anderson Tours.

Our driver wouldn’t take us to Inverness or Loch Ness. he said it was too far. The tour is called Loch Ness with a stop in Inverness. It is false advertising provider to advertise otherwise. Very disappointed. Expensive for what we got.

The guide is always the difference between an ordinary experience and an unforgettable one. Louis was a friendly, knowledgeable and engaging. He took great care of our family and even made the very long day magical for an easily bored five year old. Highly recommend the experience!

We had a private tour guide - Jock - who was amazing. He had a rich knowledge of Scottish history, a great sense of humor, great snacks ands a great playlist. We visited Pitlochry; a small beautiful Victorian town on our way to Inverness. We stopped at beautiful Loch Ness, the battlefield of Culloden and the stones that inspired Diana Gabaldon’s Outlander series at Balnuaran at Clava. My family of five loved the entire excursion!!
