Trip from Glasgow was 11 hours. Easy pick up from Glasgow's main bus station on a 16 seater bus. It left at 7.50 and the driver John was friendly and informative all day. Entertaining us with Scottish music, anecdotes and a history lesson. All this whilst watching, the beautiful scenery passing by. We made a stop at Loch Lomond to get a drink/toilet stop and to take pictures. We drove through the Highlands , passing Port Talbot, Glencoe, Fort William , where we saw snow on the top of Ben Nevis. We then went to Loch Ness where and spent 2 hours grabbing a quick lunch. The boat trip on the Loch lasted 50 minutes and was included in our ticket price. It was well worth it. A guide spoke about Nessie and the creatures in the pitch black waters of the Loch. We then headed back to Glasgow , stopping to take pictures of the Highland cows and finally had a comfort stop in a lovely cafe selling delicious homemade pies. Tiring day but well worth it.

We thoroughly enjoyed our day tour. Our driver, Peter, was well informed and entertaining. We got to visit a variety of sites, including the picturesque town of Pitlochry. We also had a chance to see and pet some Highland "Coos".

Tom was very knowledgeable and you could tell he loves his job! Maybe he mentioned it too but even if he didn't, you could tell. It was a great tour.

Maggie was absolutely wonderful. She gave interesting facts through out the journey to each destination and played music by Scottish artists which created the best ambience! It’s a lot of driving but the views were spectacular and lots of points to stop off and get snacks etc. would highly recommend!

What a great tour! James, our guide, was excellent. Very historically knowledgeable and gave tidbits throughout the drive. I loved how he also didn't just tell the glamorous history but included the "less honorable" events. After finding out we had additional travel plans after Glasgow, he made a point to tell us both good driving routes and some additional experiences to take in at our other planned stops. Overall, just a great day. Highly recommend this tour.

Our driver/guide, James, was excellent. He had a vast knowledge of everything from forestry and geology to history and movies. He was funny! He cracked both good and bad jokes. He seemed to have good driving skills and he took breaks regularly both for the passengers and for him (for his driving code). He always stopped at interesting places and gave us enough information and time to take photographs or go explore on our own. He was very much on time with departures and arrival back to Glasgow. The trip to and from Loch Ness was spectacular in all these ways. Very informative. My head is now full of all kinds of facts: historical, geographical, and contemporary. The Loch Ness cruise was much more than I thought! It was well organized with all kinds of seating: open air, yet roofed, upstairs and enclosed with windows downstairs. There was a wee bar downstairs to get snacks and drinks. The cruise was educational! I was not expecting that. A man told the history of Loch Ness and how serious research has been on-going since at least the mid-20thC. All kinds of unexpected aquatic creatures have been found in the dark depths of the lake, some were alive in the pre-historic age. The whole topic was very interesting, makes me want to read more on the topic, and leaves so much potential to find a real Loch Ness ‘Monster’. I highly recommend.

While I personally felt somewhat cramped in the van (due to a lack of leg room), I had a great experience and Grant was an exceptional tour guide.
