The tour could have been excellent, but due the attitude of the tour guide, Gary, and his refusal to adjust the cabin temperature, no one was happy. We almost suffocated it was so hot. Many of us were sick from the heat. He had plenty of ac in the drivers seat but would not turn up the fan or adjust the temperature. Several tried talking to him to get him to make adjustments but he refused to even listen to anyone. We even pulled up instructions on the internet. He was hostile toward other travelers at the bus stops, and argued with them in front of his guests. He was very abrasive to everyone. His driving skills were horrible with jerking lane changes and riding the bumpers of any vehicle in front of him, cutting off other drivers and also slamming on the brakes excessively. He forgets he’s in the hospitality business. There was nothing hospitable about him. I loved Scotland and its people. They were so beautiful, friendly and gracious. I came from Texas to visit your wonder land. I am extremely disappointed in the experience. Very sad to walk away without any resolution or a way to report bad behavior. I believe him to be an angry person. We did not want to give him any reason to strike out. Hence, this negative review. Gary needs psychological help. He was driving Rabbies van # SL24CGO. I have his picture if it would help you identify him. I believe at least one other person was planning to contact Rabbies to report Gary’s behavior. The elderly ladies sitting in front of me were in poor shape (as we all were) by the end of the day. 12 hours of torture was very difficult. It felt like we were in an oven. I have a medical condition that could very well have been a serious problem.Thank you for your time.

What a wonderful and stress-free way to see a bit of the beautiful Scottish countryside. My children and I loved this tour. Our guide was wonderful. We covered a lot of ground in a full day. We only wished we could’ve spent a little bit more time basking in Scotland’s natural beauty. Still, we were grateful to be able to see all the things we did and have such an exceptional tour guide to provide background stories and context. Thank you!

Unfortunately we were not able to go on the tour. We were a few minutes late. It said we were meeting at 7:45. Honestly I thought that we would be leaving at 8:00. Most tours meet 15 minutes before the actual leaving time.

We had the best time on this tour. I booked this for our family of 5 (me, my husband, and his parents and adult sister), for our first full day in Scotland and it was such a wonderful introduction to the country. It is certainly a long day but you can just sit back and relax while seeing the sites all day. “Old” Cameron was a fabulous guide and extremely knowledgeable, funny, patient, and kind. Some members of our party have some mobility issues and he made sure we were all comfortable and taken care of all day. His music selections and stories on the journey absolutely made our journey. My husband and I have taken several tours from Viator all over Europe (this was our first in the UK), and this was certainly the best. Book this one, it’s so worth it!
