• Cancelled twice, despite clear skies and no wind.

  We were booked for this tour for 2 nights running. The first night was cancelled at 6:30pm for an 8pm pickup. The reason given was “circumstances beyond our control”….and we were given a text guarantee that we would “100%” go the following night. We understood things can happen and looked forward to the following night as the weather forecast was very good. Then the following day at 4:15pm (for 8pm pickup!) we were told that there was “no prospect of clear skies and deteriorating road conditions”. This was perplexing to us as the skies were beautiful and clear and there was no wind. We cannot accept the weather-excuse given and another local guide also thought it was odd! The sky remained clear and no wind developed that night. We were lucky enough to see the northern lights outside our accommodation that night, but we will never know what it would have been like to see them away from the township lights. We were given a full refund, but what we wanted was the experience. We noticed a cruise ship come in to dock on both of the nights that our tour was cancelled. If you travel from the other side of the world it is very disappointing and therefore we cannot recommend this tour.

  Awersome!!!! At first we saw the northern lights a little, the guide said: „We have to just waited for awhile! Then one hour later the Aurora was coming! My fingers were frozen because the cold but it was worth!!!!

  I booked this tour , and the pick up time is 8pm, they said they will pick me up at my hotel. Now it is almost 9 but still nobody comes to pick me up. I tried to connect them by phone and WhatsApp, but still no response.

  Excellent experience. Very competent and friendly guides. We had the chance to see a lot of Northern Lights that evening in all colors, greens, reds and all shapes. The photos taken by the guides were amazing. The guides' explanations were relevant and interesting. The chosen spot allowed us to see many auroras in different directions.   Super organized. Cool guides. Lots of interesting facts about the country and people. Hot spots and of course the Northern Lights seen. Indescribably beautiful.

  We saw the most amazing aurora display, largely thanks to the patience and dedication of our guide. He took us out to good, dark location, and was utterly determined that we should see the lights. He'd also brought along hot drinks for everyone, and created a lovely, chatty, friendly atmosphere in the group. We didn't have much luck and time was running out, but on the drive back he kept looking, and finally we saw a magnificent display! Really grateful for all his hard work and skill, and also many explanations and help with camera settings. Everyone got great photos - both their own, and the ones that he took and provided the next day. Fantastic service, and I would thoroughly recommend this company.

• Magical tour with an expert and enthusiastic guide

  Went out with maurice. It was storming and raining all day so we thought: this is not going to be it. But we also thought: you have to have confidence in your guide and that confidence turned out to be justified. Despite rain, hail, wet snow and a huge amount of wind, maurice and Christian managed to find beautiful clearings and the northern lights clearly showed themselves. Maurice has taken beautiful pictures of us and is an enthusiastic hunter without losing sight of our safety. It was very cold and we were well looked after by maurice and Christian with hot drinks. It was the highlight of our trip so far. Thanks to our enthusiastic guides, we look back on an unforgettable magical evening. Unfortunately I can't add photos because they are on my phone but I do have them and I'm going to relive them. Thank you so much guys.

  Understandable that we have no control on the weather and we appreciate you tried to chase where sky opens up. Your tour description package includes a professional photographer and take photos of us but when you have so many travelers with only one camera and only have 5 minutes chance to view the lights for the entire tour, then not all travelers will have the chance to have their photo taken. If that’s the case then we should get a partial refund for not having our photo taken. Otherwise, we could have just chosen different tour agency that doesn’t include photography with lesser fee. For future travelers, if the weather forecast is cloudy…just cancel/reschedule your tour if you don’t want to waste your money.
