  We were able to visit all the Lofoten Islands and see the Northern Lights thanks to the valuable help of an Italian-speaking guide who immersed us in the life and traditions of these fascinating lands with professionalism, sympathy and availability.

  We booked a day private tour with Heart of Lofoten. They have been an absolute pleasure to deal with - responsive and helpful. Sadly, we are no longer able to go because the ship can’t dock in Leknes due to the conditions, but Heart of Lofoten very kindly refunded our money without question. We will definitely book again when we come back, and really recommend this company for a hassle free and risk free booking. Many thanks!

  We had booked a full day shore excursion, as well as an evening tour to view the Northern Lights. Unfortunately, due to weather, our ship had to cancel our port stop in Gravdal. Heart of Lofoten was very accommodating and promptly refunded our full payments for both tours to the credit card which had been charged. They went above and beyond what they were required to do. I hope to make my way to Lofoten Islands one day, and I will not hesitate to book with them again. Highly recommend!

  Love the flexibility of this company. I let the know as soon as we found out our cruise ship was not going to make port the next day and pleasantly suprised to get a full refund. I believe their policy was to not refund deposit and so supeised when they did . They were very easy to work with, especially for handicap people. I found some of the companies in the area would not accept mobility scooter users on their tours and this company was happy to! Will use again in the future.

  Sadly I did not get to take this tour because bad weather necessitated changing ports and canceling all shore excursions. However I wanted to commend Andrea Selva and the whole Heart of Lofoten crew for their professionalism and friendliness throughout the booking/cancelation process,

  We booked both day and chasing lights night tours with Heart of Lofoten. They offer excellent choices and were very easy to communicate. Sadly at last minute our cruise ship has to cancel the port of call due to poor weather condition. They immediately refunded our money. Highly highly recommend this company.

  We thoroughly enjoyed our day with Andrea. He was waiting for us at the port in Leknes and brought us on a breathtaking tour of West Lofoten. He brought us to all of the iconic picture sites from Haukland Beach to A. He allowed us to stay at each site as long as we pleased without rushing us on to the next stop. • Best Day in Norway

  The fishing villages were our greatest interest in the area South of Lofoten. We were amazed to see so much more. There were beautiful white sand beaches. The mountains were spectacular with bright colored homes and barns. We saw sheep with their young. Andrea made multiple stops at the best places for photos. The villages around and in Reine were the best. We were so fortunate to have blue skies for much of the day. But Andrea’s knowledge of this area in particular and Norway in general made the day a much richer experience we will not forget.

  Relaxed, informative, individual tour through beautiful scenery! We booked the tour as a cruise ship excursion. While the ship's internal tour took a bus, our guide - Andrea - was waiting with a 9 seater just for our family. Andrea told us lots of interesting things about the country, people and landscape while driving us to the most beautiful spots in the south of the archipelago. Emerging questions developed a friendly conversation atmosphere in the car. Andrea, however, through his unobtrusive nature also let us be room for simple- enjoyment and for us-. A wonderful way to experience the beauty of Lofoten in a small group.
