Chateau de Chambord

From Paris, you’ll head first to Chambord Castle. Disney fans will find this castle’s turrets familiar; it was the inspiration for the castle in ‘Beauty and the Beast’. Though originally conceived as a royal hunting lodge, it was built to a scale that must be seen to be believed. You’ll learn all about the castle’s captivating history from your guide, before getting your own chance to explore. Climb a staircase supposedly designed by Da Vinci; enjoy spectacular turret-framed rooftop views; glimpse wild deer around the grounds; and work up an appetite for the next stop.

What a wonderful day! Riti was a great tour guide and gave entertaining storylines and insight about the castles. The wine was so good I ended up buying a couple bottles to take home. I would highly recommend this tour.

This was a great full day trip out of Paris. Our tour guide was Riti. Request Riti for a very informed yet casual tour. We toured 2 castles, had lunch and shopping, and also a wine tasting. Absolutely loved!

Jasmina helped me because i almost missed my train! She helped me find a bus route and stayed with me to call my hotel. Thank you!! The castles are mind blowingly beautiful and I felt like a Disney princess!

This was an excellent day trip that we took during our stay in Paris. The experiences as the 2 castles, wine tasting, and stop in Blois were incredible for how inexpensive it was. Jasmina and Riti were informative and lively tour guides. We highly recommend this experience.

The hike was really enjoyable. Well organized, fun and exciting. Our guide, who for simplicity I will call D 😊, was great at explaining everything and giving us fundamental information to be able to appreciate the tour. I recommend everyone to book this tour!
