Chateau de Chambord
From Paris, you’ll head first to Chambord Castle. Disney fans will find this castle’s turrets familiar; it was the inspiration for the castle in ‘Beauty and the Beast’. Though originally conceived as a royal hunting lodge, it was built to a scale that must be seen to be believed. You’ll learn all about the castle’s captivating history from your guide, before getting your own chance to explore. Climb a staircase supposedly designed by Da Vinci; enjoy spectacular turret-framed rooftop views; glimpse wild deer around the grounds; and work up an appetite for the next stop.

The luxury bus was a nice way to travel so early in the morning. We beat the crowds to the first castle and learned alot of history from our tour guide Goran. Our second castle with wine tasting was a very beautiful site as it was on a river with lots of giant trees. It was a long day but it was a beautiful day.

Wonderful experience! Enough freedom to explore the history and restaurants that you prefer, with easy transit between each site. Goran was our guide, and he did a wonderful job.

Bring an umbrella if it is going to rain. The town of Blois was pretty and I wish we had more time there. The wine experience is a short tasting of three of their wines.

Very nice trip. We appreciate how it was planned, witaj two castles, a lunch and a glass of wine on between. I liked Goran'n narration, it was a little like reading Alexandre Dumas 😀. The trip is not particularly strenouous and it van be recommended to all lovers of Beaty and history.
