We will guide you on an exploration of London’s major landmarks. This will give you a good idea of the history, culture, and legends of Europe’s best-loved city

We will head through Green Park to Buckingham Palace, where every Monday, Wednesday, Friday & Sunday we can watch the world-famous Changing of the Guard ceremony (10am tour only).

After witnessing this impressive, traditional ritual, we'll head to Westminster.

Sights we'll see along the way include Downing St, Westminster Abbey & the Houses of Parliament. We'll time our walk so we get to hear Big Ben's globally recognizable chimes

Then we'll go to the London Bridge area, where we'll see Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre, Potter film locations, The Clink Prison, London Bridge, The Shard, HMS Belfast, Tower Bridge & the Tower of London

What To Expect

Buckingham Palace

After a stroll through lovely Green Park, we reach Buckingham Palace - official home of the King! Your guide will tell stories of British Royal history as you admire this beautiful Palace. On certain days you can watch the world-famous Changing of the Guard ceremony, and your guide will find the perfect viewing spot! Afterward, walk along the Royal Mall.

My husband and I had the most amazing tour with Ash. He was so insightful, friendly with all of the guests, told great stories and was funny & professional simultaneously. After the tour he made sure everyone knew we could ask questions about the tour, which tube line to take to get here and there, the hidden restaurant gems etc.

There is a lot of walking on this tour, so be prepared! Our friendly and knowledgeable guide, Ash, kept us moving efficiently. It was Remembrance Day and the crowds were huge! Ash knew some short cuts and slight itinerary changes to bypass most backups. Also, he positioned us nicely to get views of the Royals traveling to festivities down the Mall in front of Buckingham Palace, which was a totally unexpected bonus!

This was my favorite tour experience in London by far, thanks to our incredible guide, Connor. We visited many of the city’s top sights, all perfectly packed into just five hours. Connor shared so much fascinating history, mixing in humor and fun stories that made the whole experience both educational and entertaining. On top of an already amazing tour, Connor took the time to teach my young son a magic trick — which absolutely made his day! It’s those personal touches that make a tour truly memorable. ABOVE AND BEYOND is the only way to describe this tour with Dan! We saw SO MUCH of London and his knowledge of London history is astounding. He could easily be a historian or history teacher. Saw so many key spots as well as many you’d never know about. I would highly recommend this tour and hopefully you’ll be lucky enough to get Dan as your guide.
