Wrong pick-up point given three times!

2.00The pick-up point given in the booking by email and in the app was wrong. It was fortunate we met a couple who rang the tour operator when the bus hadn't turned up and we were then given the correct location but advised the bus might be gone. Fortunately it wasn't. The change was due to roadworks which had obviously been ongoing for some time so the operator had plenty of time to change the location but didn’t. I suspect we weren't the first group impacted like this. The tour guide was informative, knowledgeable and quite entertaining, if you are fortunate enough to get on the bus!
If you have booked this tour, you're probably at the wrong pick-up point!

4.00Tour guide was very knowledgeable and we learned a great deal on the tour. Weather was an issue but we were able to sit under an overhang on the top of the bus.

5.00We chose a terrible night to do this tour. It was freezing cold and rainy which, of course, was outside of the tour companies control. What they could control, they did amazing! Our tour guide Steve had the odds stacked against him but he did such a good job! He still brought the energy and excitement and did his very best! This tour is a great way to quickly see the city on limited time.

1.00Do NOT book this tour for 1st January. Many road closures due to an earlier New Year's day parade which resulted in the bus not being able to access certain roads and Christmas lights as advertised. Roads were also grid locked and meeting point for tour changed. Golden Tours were aware in advance of these issues and didnt communicate with their customers. Awful experience.
