I took the 7:45 pm River cruise. The cruise is 40 minutes and the London Eye closes at 8:30. There was no way to book the London Eye ahead of time and it was closed by the time we got off the boat. Cruise had nice views but the guides jokes weren’t funny.

The Eye was super cool. Lines went fast. Exceptional views of London. The river cruise was the best though! Mitch was our guide and he was so fun! This was a highlight of our trip.

The lady checking bags prior to boarding the cruise yelled at me to stop and was rude after she had already checked my bag. That was a little off putting. Amelia was a great tour guide that actually talked about what we were seeing on the river banks. My family loved going in the observation wheel and seeing the sites. The staff at the Eye were very helpful.

The link to schedule the London Eye timed ticket went to a blank page, I was never able to download tickets, I even had the hotel try on a computer. It’s better to purchase the tickets onsite.
