St. Paul's Cathedral
St. Paul’s Cathedral in London, designed by Sir Christopher Wren, is an iconic masterpiece of English Baroque architecture. Completed in 1710, its majestic dome dominates the city's skyline. The cathedral serves as a symbol of resilience, notably surviving the Blitz during World War II. Rich in history, it has hosted royal weddings, state funerals, and jubilees. Inside, stunning mosaics, the Whispering Gallery, and its crypt inspire awe and reflection.
Big Ben
Big Ben, the iconic clock tower in London, is a symbol of British culture and history. Officially known as the Elizabeth Tower, it stands adjacent to the Houses of Parliament and was completed in 1859. Its massive clock faces and resounding chimes, especially the hourly "bong," are renowned worldwide. Restored in recent years, Big Ben combines Gothic Revival architecture with intricate craftsmanship, making it a timeless landmark and a beacon of tradition.

Our guide, Carolina, was very informative and fun. I can't believe how many things we saw and I loved that she took us to some spots that most visitors probably walk right by and miss completely. She took as many photos as we wanted/needed and provided tips for accessing key attractions and where to eat in the city. The tour included a 1 hr break for lunch at a location with many different options and incredible views. We did take the underground transit network to get to Westminster after lunch but it was super easy and Carolina did a great job of keeping us all together. One thing to note is that the tour ends at a different location than where it started, although everything is not too far away, this is important if you are planning activities after the tour. I recommend doing this tour early in your stay in London, as it does not include admission to any sites, but will give you a good idea about where you may want to return to explore further. Additionally, our guide provided tips about how to get tickets and what is included with each site admission.

This walking tour is definitely worth it but also, incredibly long. I had Caroline as our guide, not a big group, and she kept a comfortable pace. She has a lot of knowledge and insight on the city of London. Its a great way to see the city. Plus the lunch break was most welcome.

We did this tour on Dec. 2, with Carolina as our tour guide. I don't know how she did it, but Carolina made the tour so smooth and informative, that I didn't even realize that we'd walked so far! We started near St. Paul's and ended at Buckingham Palace. Carolina was also great at pointing out amazing photo opportunities and patiently took all of our photos! There was an hour break for lunch, right near the London Tower, where there were lots of options for food. We took 30 min to go back and explore All Hallows by the Tower (Mariner's Church), which was beautiful. We grabbed some food from the many food trucks and made it back to our meeting spot on time (it was all in the same area). We did take the underground to get to Westminster. It was helpful that we'd all used the system before, but I'm confident that Carolina could walk you through it, if it was your first experience with their public transit system. Our tour had only about 10 of us, which was really nice and easy to stay together throughout the city. Don't let the number of sights deter you -- you really won't realize how far you're walking because it's all very interesting and so close together! I recommend doing this tour near the start of your visit so that you can decide where you want to return to afterward for a longer visit. Note that the tour does not include entry into any sights, but is rather walking around and viewing from the outside, with added tips and information from your guide.

Our tour with Matt was truly one of the highlights of our time in London. From the moment we met him, his warmth, energy, and passion for the city were unmistakable. He struck the perfect balance between being incredibly knowledgeable and genuinely entertaining, weaving together history, culture, and fun anecdotes in a way that brought every stop to life. Matt has a remarkable talent for storytelling—he doesn’t just share facts, he paints vivid pictures that make you feel like you’re stepping right into London’s past. Whether we were exploring famous landmarks or discovering hidden gems we’d never have found on our own, he made every moment engaging. Beyond his expertise, Matt was wonderfully attentive to everyone in the group. He customized the experience to our interests, answered every question with enthusiasm, and made sure we all felt comfortable and included. His recommendations for food, shopping, and additional sights were spot-on and added so much value to our trip. If you’re visiting London and want a tour that’s insightful, fun, and unforgettable, look no further than Matt. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide—he made our London adventure truly special. Highly, highly recommend!
