Tour Notes: Louvre museum may be subjected to occasional closures without previous warning from the museum management. When this occurs, we will provide guests with an appropriate alternative if the museum opening time is delayed more than 1h from the tour starting time. In these cases we are unable to provide refunds or discounts. Appropriate dress is required for entry into some sites on this tour. No large bags or suitcases are allowed inside the museum, only handbags or small thin bag packs are allowed through security. Due to increased security measures at many attractions some lines may form on tours with 'Skip the Line' or 'No Wait' access. Some specific rooms inside the museum are subjected to a very quiet or restricted right to speak inside, in this cases your guide will provide the information about this places before entering the specific rooms where this rule applies. Some collections may vary along the year.

5.00My friend and I sent a request in for a private tour of the Louvres and got paired with Paloma, who was a perfect match for the kind of tour we wanted. She took my idea ("art that elicits emotion") and ran with it, and WOW, what an amazing time we had. Paloma is absolutely brilliant and everything she shared was compelling & interesting, not just a bunch of facts. Her tour inspired my friend to want to reconnect with her Art History roots from back in college and go back to school. As for me, I felt it was the absolute best way to spend time in the Louvres.

He was extremely knowledgeable on all the art, and when I had a special request to see a particular piece, he wasted no time and explained the artist to the others in the group. 5.00Our Guide Zdravko was exceptional. He was compassionate, patience and accommodating. Due to my Parkinson's disease, I have severe hearing loss, and am visually challenged. I don't have depth perception, so going down stairs looks like sold surfaces. I need my husband to verbally cue me to step down. "Z" took extra precautions and had me stand close to him during his narration. I APPRECIATED his accommjdation.

5.00Florent is an excellent guide—his enthusiasm and passion for the museum and the art enhanced our experience and he is knowledgeable without judgment! We enjoyed our tour with him very much and highly recommend him as a guide. It was worth the expense—the Louvre is such an overwhelming place that it was nice to focus on the highlights (and his tips for how to get close to the Mona Lisa) and also on the little known treasures (he took us to rooms with no crowds!).He gave us plenty of historical context for the museum itself, and he engaged our 14 year old very well, too. Enjoyed our visit with him and hope to see him again when we return to Paris.
