My daughter accidentally purchased this excursion on our family vacation (I had the page in an open tab researching). I contacted them multiple times to tell them what had happened and they absolutely refused to work with me on any kind of refund. They were not open minded or understanding. Would never recommend a company that doesn’t have ANY exceptions for getting money back.

Make sure you have good shoes on that have grip. You will walk about 10 minutes before you get to the canyon.

The Lower Antelope Canyon is a geological marvel and a stunning piece of natural artistry. The tour has to be pre-booked (one cannot just turn up for the tour), we did via Dixie's through viator. Direct booking would've been cheaper. The whole tour lasts for about over an hour and conducted by a certified Navajo guide as the canyon is on Navajo land despite being part of a national park. The only drawback is that as we share the tour with another group (15 in each group), we rush through the canyon without enough solo photo opportunities unless individuals decide to take them but then we hold up the others. There are three areas where the tour guide allows for photos but it feels rushed. Archie, our young Navajo guide was informative, funny and also sang a couple of Navajo songs for us. He spent considerable time answering questions during and after the tour.

Antelope Canyon both upper and lower are amazing natural wonders to see. The lower canyon does require some ladder climbing aptitude. It is unfortunate that tours are scheduled 15 minutes apart. Ultimately, visitors are overhearing other guides at the same time and there is too much noise pollution to fully enjoy the beauty of the natural sculptures.
