The trail leading to the entrance of Lower Antelope Canyon is composed of Navajo sandstone making the decent to the canyon entrance both rocky and sandy, for our guests’ safety and comfort we advise appropriate shoes be worn. As you begin your 1 – 1.5-hour adventure (all-walking) with Lower Antelope Canyon Tours, your experience will span roughly 1,800 meters (1.1 miles) round trip. Upon descending down five flights of stairs (35 meters) into the largest cavern of the tour, guests’ will begin their majestic ascent through the kaleidoscope of colors naturally provided by the unique creation of Navajo Sandstone, as a result of rain, wind, and erosion. I would definitely recommend this experience to others. My son told me that when he went years ago they waited in line for 3 hours. The new reservation system is definitely working and helping the experience. Be forewarned that their are several steps to navigate. Those with mobility issues might want to explore the Upper Antelope Canyon instead.

Dixie’s tour is so well organized and the customer service is excellent. Our guide Gabrielle was very patient and knowledgeable. She took pictures for us and played a song on the flute. It was magical!

Amazing! I've been able to go 3 times now and it never gets old. The colors change all through the day, so it's a new experience every time. And our guide, Gabby, was awesome as well!

The price is much lower if you buy your tickets at the tour with cash. We showed up with no plan during mid day on a weekend and were provided multiple time slots to choose. Great experience with gorgeous views.
