Lower Antelope Canyon
Visitors begin their guided Lower Antelope Canyon tour with a short 10-minute walk from the check-in booth to the entrance of of the canyon. The trail leading to the entrance of Lower Antelope Canyon is composed of Navajo sandstone making the decent to the canyon entrance both rocky and sandy, for our guests’ safety and comfort we advise appropriate shoes be worn. As you begin your 1 – 1.5-hour adventure (all-walking) with Lower Antelope Canyon Tours, your experience will span roughly 1,800 meters (1.1 miles) round trip. Upon descending down five flights of stairs (35 meters) into the largest cavern of the tour, guests’ will begin their majestic ascent through the kaleidoscope of colors naturally provided by the unique creation of Navajo Sandstone, as a result of rain, wind, and erosion. The numerous echelons throughout the canyon consist of eight uniquely built ladders (with handrails) for safety.

Lower antelope canyon was amazing We went about 11:00am in early November. Perfect day weather wise Wasn’t sure about the stairs that I read about to go into the canyon but it was not hard at all I’m 68 years old and didn’t have any trouble Jordan was our wonderful and knowledgeable guide and helped with photo taking also. Pictures turned out beautifully. There are some narrow passageways but not difficult There are usually groups ahead and behind your group and it moves at a steady pace . Picture taking is quick but can be done I have more than enough great shots Definitely recommend doing this tour , if you are in reasonable shape , and can do stairs

Dixie’s lower antelope Canyon trip was quite a surprise. The people running this operation are top class, everyone was treated with courtesy and much friendship, and our tour guide was excellent. The canyon is spectacular and I would recommend it for families and groups. We thought our tour guide was especially good because of her accounting of Navajo history and the canyon itself. She was cognizant of safety at all times and was so professional and knowledgeable. Definitely a five star rating.

Eder was amazing , he was funny and informative. He helped us take the best photos and took pictures of us. He played a double flute for us which was amazing! Highly recommend this tour and if you get Eder , it will be even better! I don’t like heights, I was a little fearful going in but definitely worth it and you won’t go out the same way and the stairs at the beginning are the tallest !

Eric was an excellent guide. He showed us exactly where to stand and how to frame our shots so the colors and light really showed off the canyon. He also wove in the history of how the formations came to be, which made the experience even richer. If you can, request Eric—you’ll be in good hands.

Excellent experience. Our guide Xhaivier (X) was wonderful. He stopped for phots, helped with getting the focus, light, and image good. You cant take walking sticks or canes. And, there are stairs/ladders to climb up/down and some tight spots to sort of squezze, not bad, through. We are in our late 70's and did not have any problems with the tour. Their web site is good. Only a 10 minute drive from ROAM CG Page UT. We choose Dixie because it has Navaho guides.

Not been on the tour yet but had great help from Angie. Helpful information about the tour and how to book, as well as comments to help on other aspects of our travel.
