What To Expect
Valley of The Kings
Located on the west bank of the Nile near Luxor, this small area contains a surprising amount of exquisitely decorated tombs of the kings of ancient Egypt. The Valley of the Kings is a tomb for the pharaohs of the 18th, 19th and 20th Dynasties (Heliopolis Kingdom). This desert valley contains the ancient tombs of many Egyptian pharaohs, including Tutankhamun, Ramesses II, Thutmose III, and Seti I, as well as powerful nobles and the wives and sons of the pharaohs. The Valley of the Kings consists of two valleys, the East Valley and the West Valley. Currently, the Valley of the Kings is a World Heritage Site.
Temple of Hatshepsut
The Temple of Hatshepsut at Deir el Bahari, located on Kings Valley Road in Luxor, Egypt, is one of the most well-known historical attractions in the country. Constructed during the 15th century BCE, the temple is dedicated to Amon-Ra, the sun god. Set against stark cliffs, the temple consists of three terraces, which feature rows of colonnades reminiscent of Classical architecture, and its interior includes paintings and hieroglyphics . The temple is a must-see for tourists visiting Luxor, and it is also included in most tour packages.

5.00We had an absolutely incredible day exploring Luxor with Ahmed as our guide. From start to finish, he made the entire experience seamless, informative, and genuinely unforgettable. We visited Luxor Temple, Karnak Temple, the Valley of the Kings, and Hatshepsut Temple all in one full day, and Ahmed managed the itinerary perfectly so we never felt rushed but still saw everything we hoped for. His knowledge of Egyptian history is great —he brought every site to life with detailed stories, context, and insights you simply wouldn’t get on your own. If you’re visiting Luxor, I cannot recommend Ahmed highly enough. He truly elevated our trip and made it one of the highlights of our time in Egypt. We’ll be recommending him to everyone we know!

5.00Due to being let down VERY last minute by another company, we found this tour in its place & I’m so glad we did. The organisation from start to finish was nothing short of excellent. Don’t get me wrong it’s a very long day with a lot of walking (way more than Cairo / pyramids etc) but is so worth it. Our guide Ahmed was absolutely brilliant, his English first class and translating all the Egyptian history so we knew all the facts was absolutely top tier - this guy really knows his stuff. Our driver Ali kept us safe, comfortable & cool - you don’t know how important all three of these things are until you’re melting into a puddle & watching the crazy Egyptian traffic! I cannot rate this tour highly enough, it was booked as a birthday surprise for my husband and they even managed to organise a cake from us getting off the plane to one of our stops! Will definitely be using this company again, their communication is excellent as are all their representatives - the whole day was incredible value for money!! Get booking, it’s definitely worth the ridiculously early start 🥰
