  • Experience to recommend, thank you!

For our anniversary trip, we enlisted Jéremie Durand to accompany us during a stay in Burgundy, with Dijon as our base. The excursions, spread over two full days, were to include both a focus on the history and culture of Burgundy, as well as another aimed at wine enthusiasts. It was for us an immersion, in every respect, of very high quality, well beyond the expectations of each participant. An encyclopedic knowledge was shared with great communicative passion and awakened in us the desire to repeat the experience. Our stay was complemented by a guided tour of the city of Dijon by Clément Lassus-Minvielle, who was able to share with us the excellence that one can expect from thoroughly documented knowledge. Experience to recommend - A big thank you to both of you.

For our trip to Burgundy, we called on Grape Adventure to help us discover the region around Dijon in two days. One day was to be dedicated to culture and history, the other to viticulture and wine tasting. The result exceeded all our expectations. Jérémie Durand's knowledge of the region, conveyed with contagious enthusiasm, greatly impressed all the participants. The stay began with a guided tour of Dijon led by Clément Lassus-Minvielle, who set the tone with his in-depth knowledge. The subsequent journey with Jérémie to Auxerrois and the commentary on the history of the Fontenay Abbey were very impressive. In the oenological part, in Côte de Nuits and Côte de Beaune, Jérémie also helped us rediscover the diversity of Burgundy's terroirs. We have wonderful memories from this experience and are very eager to return to Burgundy. A big thank you to Jérémie and Clément for everything they taught us and for their passion.

Even before our wine tastings, our guide Jeremie drove us through the vineyards explaining how the history and geography of this region affects how the grape vines grow, and how it affects the taste of each wine from the Burgundy region. Not only was it educational, it was presented in such an interesting and personal way. Jeremie is passionate and knowledgeable. We had fun and learned so much and will enjoy the wine we purchased from the local winemakers we met.

We had a great tour with Jeremie. The van was very comfortable, and we got to learn a lot about the culture of wine in the area, and we had great visits to wineries in the area. The tasting rooms were amazing, and the wine was great. We bought a case to ship back to the U.S. Overall a great experience!!!

We’ve been on many winery tours around the world, and this one with Jeremie was truly one of the best decisions we’ve made. Yes, it costs more than most tours but when it comes to wine, quality is what truly matters. From the moment we stepped into the SUV, Jeremie began sharing an in-depth history of Burgundy wines as we drove through the rolling vineyards, it felt like a living history lesson unfolding before our eyes. Before we knew it, we had arrived at our first tasting of the day, beginning with an informative tour of the estate followed by tastings of exceptional Grand Cru and 1er Cru wines. After lunch at a beautiful restaurant overlooking the vineyards, we visited another “winery of the century,” where striking modern architecture blends seamlessly with traditional winemaking — even incorporating Asian Feng Shui principles to enhance its aura and energy. Naturally, they too produce some of the finest Grand Cru and Premier Cru wines in the region. Beyond the outstanding tastings, the most wonderful part of the experience was being able to taste, select, purchase, and have the wines shipped directly home. Jeremie handled everything effortlessly. We would return to Burgundy again for the wines, and of course, for Jeremie.

  • Exceptional Burgundy Wine Tour with Exclusive Winery Access

We could not have been more pleased with our time touring Burgundy with Jeremy. There is simply no way we would have been able to visit such prestigious properties or meet winemakers without his incredible connections. Each tasting felt truly special and exclusive. Jeremy is extremely knowledgeable and educated us on every property and every wine we tasted. He picked us up from our hotel each morning, shared the history of the region and the vineyards we were visiting, and accompanied us throughout every tour. He also arranged wonderful lunches at charming local restaurants that we never would have discovered on our own. We enjoyed two tastings per day, and without Jeremy’s expertise and relationships, we never would have had access to the exceptional wineries we visited. He also helped us coordinate the purchase of wines and arranged for them to be shipped back to us in the United States, which made the entire experience seamless and stress-free. I cannot recommend Jeremy highly enough if you are looking for an unforgettable experience in Burgundy. He is an outstanding guide who truly connects you with exclusive wineries and brings the region to life in a way that is both educational and personal.

I booked two private tours through Viator which led me to Jeremie at Grape Adventure. He was extremely knowledgeable about Burgundy wines, as he grew up as a local. He has great relationships with local wineries where we were able to tour and taste and has extensive knowledge about the terroir, history of the wine region, wine growing and wine making process! He also was able to arrange great lunch reservations in the area! As a WSET 3 student who has a soft spot for French Wines, he was the perfect private guide for my solo trip to tour Cote de Beaune and Cote de Nuit. I will definitely book directly through Grape Adventure when I return to Burgundy again!

We are a group of 4 traveling with our dog on Jeremie’s tour. Jeremie was super helpful and friendly all the way - from setting the itinerary, to showing us around Cote d’Or, arranging two tasting sessions and an impeccable lunch spot, and even gave tips for rest of our journey on where to visit. His knowledge and openness to share in the friendliest manner gave us the perfect glimpse into the Burgundy wine history and culture. We just cant recommend enough!

  • Good wine, and good company!

Jérémie organized two wonderful days in Burgundy for my wife and me. One day in Côte-d’Or exploring reds, and another in Chablis for whites. We couldn’t have asked for a better introduction to Burgundy. His tastings helped us understand the full spectrum of the region, not only in terms of the wines themselves, but also the history of the industry in the region. He has a deep passion for wine, and an exuberant personality that made for a most enjoyable experience. We’ll be back!

My friend and I traveled to France to do a mini bachelorette party for her. We wanted to do some wine tasting as we both love French wines but we were told that Burgundy is not like Napa, California, which is very commercial. We are from California and used to that, so we did not know how to approach Burgundy in order to have the ability to taste the wine. We knew it was mainly very private, often family run vineyards, and harder to get into. A friend of ours recommended Jeremie and Grape Adventure and we are so grateful they did!! He was absolutely amazing -- he organized all the tastings and a lunch for us, and we spent a whole day driving through Burgundy and learning about wine. Jeremie was so knowledgeable and told us the stories of the different vineyards as we drove by, stopped the car to show us sights, and helped us to fine tune our wine tastes with each tasting that we attended. He helped us learn what to taste for, what we like, don't like, and after the day, he dropped us off at our hotel. He was so amazing and we will definitely be back to visit him again!!! Thank you, Jeremie, for such a memorable experience and the best way to celebrate a bachelorette!!
