Combine the International Antarctic Centre with its little Blue Penguins, Antarctic Storm in the Ice and Snow room, 4-D Movie and Hagglund ride over a purpose made course, together with a half day city tour of Christchurch taking in not only the damage to the city by several earthquakes in 2010 and 2011 and the rebuild currently taking place but also the remaining historic landmarks and the existing beauty of this picturesque city.

Great shore excursion with fabulous guide

5.0Great option if you only have a day I. Christchurch. Guide Scotty was a wealth of info especially about the earthquake and recovery plans of the city. Tour was well run with a good amount of time at each stop. Almost 2 hours of free time in the city centre over lunch to explore. The Antarctic centre was a highlight and having 2 hours rather than the Standard 90 mins on other tours was perfect. Highly recommended

5.0The itinerary was well thought out and gave a good overview of Christchurch. The best part was the local insights provided by our driver “Scotty” with an amazing knowledge of the cultural, historical and geographic characteristics of this special and unique city in New Zealand. He was obviously very proud of his city and also hilarious. The Antarctic Centre was also brilliant with the staff there very passionate about their work and the presentations gave a real insight to what that continent must be like to visit or work there. This tour was really a great value fantastic day out. Highly recommended Thanks

5.0Had a wonderful time exploring Christchurch with Scotty as our driver who was extremely informative about all things relating to Christchurch and New Zealand. The highlight was the Antartic Centre and hearing all about life in Antarctica. Would highly recommend this tour. 👌
