It was an entertaining and partly also very amusing city tour with a very sympathetic guide. He has given us insights beyond what has been described. We couldn't have seen that in private.

Today our guide Jos took us around the Old Town to illustrate important episodes in the city’s history He has a deep knowledge of history and talked and answered questions easily. He was especially welcoming to us, explaining how grateful he is to all the allied soldiers who fought for them against the Nazis in WWll. The town continues to tend their graves.

We had a tour on September 25, 2025. The worst tour we ever had. Waste of money and time. No interesting facts, no history and simple don't care about his job. He has no idea how to present even this poor material he had. Most of the tours we had - was a pleasure and people applaud.

We stayed with a group about Nickocruises in Maastricht. Jos - our guide - showed us his city with a lot of commitment and passion. Lots of little anecdotes, sometimes an approach of people on the street to get their view of the city. Everyone really liked that Jos (a retired teacher) always involved us, the quizzes were amusing and tickled our ambition out. A great time! Thank you Jos! A city worth seeing!

Our group was traveling with JOS. He turned out to be an avid Maastricht fan and fantastic narrator! Educated, funny and riddled with many private experiences, he has made me a real Maastricht fan!! Thank you very much for the great trip!

Gilbert is very knowledgeable and witty guide, he paced the highlights tour very well and the two hous flew by. Occasionally it was difficult to hear everything if we found ourselves at the back of the group however it must be incredibly difficult to make yourself heard in such busy environments. We loved the tour and came across sights we would never have found ourselves. Thank you Gilbert.

Seriously one of the best tours we've ever taken. We took an spur of the moment daytrip to Maastricht and booked this tour last minute. We couldnt have been more impressed. Gilbert was very informative and clearly the man of the town as it seemed he knew someone at each corner! We learned a ton and would recommend this in a heartbeat.

Today we did our guided tour of the city with dear JOS. JOS has brought Maastricht quite a bit closer to us historically. It was very entertaining and absolutely entertaining.
