Leaving from Cusco in the morning, you'll travel by mini-bus to the village of Ollantaytambo in the Sacred Valley. From here, you'll board the train to Aguas Calientes. This journey in itself is an experience, as you’ll get to enjoy beautiful scenery and changing landscapes, all from the comfort of your seat. Following the course of the river down the Sacred Valley, you'll arrive to Aguas Calientes by about lunchtime. After checking in to your hotel, you'll have the afternoon free. If you want to take advantage of your afternoon, you can visit the Machu Picchu museum and orchid exhibition, which is a 35-minute walk outside of the village. Alternatively, you can just relax in the hot springs of Aguas Calientes (not included in the price)
Machu Picchu - Cusco
Historic Sanctuary of Machu Picchu
Waking up early, you'll take the first bus up to Machu Picchu to enter the site as it opens. You'll have a 2-hour guided tour of the site, during which you'll learn about the Incas and visit all the most important areas of the citadel. After the tour, you'll have free time to explore the site by yourself. Snap some photos, relax, and absorb the mystical surroundings. If you have permits to climb either Huayna Picchu or Machu Picchu mountain, now’s the time to do so. This will take about 3 hours, round-trip. In the afternoon, you’ll catch the train back to Ollantaytambo, from where you’ll carry on by mini-bus back to Cusco.

5.00Responsible, very friendly punctual. You will be picked up and returned to the Hotel after each tour. José Titto the best guide. We visited Machu Picchu by 2-day train, Sacred Valley tour and Cusco City tour. 100% recommended.

5.00My cousin and I last minute decided we wanted to do a trip to Peru November 2021. We are forever grateful Andes Peru had an opening for us since they made our trip experience amazing! Jose Ttito was a great tour guide and so enthusiastic to share his country with us. He knew when to book our permit slot times for Inca trail day hike and Machu Picchu tour to make sure we beat the crowds and had the best experience possible. He was always on time and excited to lead us on every leg of the trip. He was very knowledgeable and answered every possible question we had, from the Inca ruins to the local wildlife and cultures. We don’t think this trip would have been possible without Andes Peru and their amazing staff. Thank you for an unforgettable trip!

However, our whole trip was just above and beyond ur expectactions. Jose is a very nice and calm guide. He is very helpful and patient. We highy recommend this tour company.

Our 2 day tour to Machu Picchu was wonderful and stress free, thanks to him and all of the company. We also decided to do the Rainbow Mountain with them, while in Cusco. 5.00Me and my boyfriend are very impressed with Andes Peru Tour and Adventure andour guide Jose. This was our long planned trip and were very careful in choosing a good tour company to make this a pleasant one. Jose is an excellent guide, a local with a wealth of knowledge on history. The accommodation in Aguas Calientes which Andes Peru organised for us was quaint. The whole trip was very smooth with no rush. Also, it was nice to have Jose all the way along with us from Cusco to Machu Picchu and back. This was morelike a private trip and Jose took great care and effort to make this a great trip of our lifetime.
