This tapas tour exceeded all of our expectations. We arrived at the meeting spot and were surprised to learn that we were the only two people on the tour which we were told was an extremely rare occurrence. After a brief explanation of what our tour would encompass by our guide , Brian, we set off. At the first stop we were treated to two different glasses of wine and four small tapas. I loved the cod soup Next we were off to a small place where again we were treated to four small tapas, broth and bread. My favorite was the pork belly and my husband loved the potato one. We were surprised my a group of men at a nearby table who began singing. It was great Next was to a small place where we were treated to the most amazing jamon and cheese offerings Last we were so full , but we made room for churros at our last stop. All of the places and food were fantastic, but what truly put this tour over the top was our guide. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the food, the restaurants and many places in the area. He was a great conversationalist and truly made the tour exceptional!

Brian was an excellent guide who provided the right amount of information regarding the sites visited. The group size of 8 was perfect providing an opportunity to have good conversations. The wine and tapas choices exceeded my expectations.

We really enjoyed our tapas tour. Our guide was pleasant and knowledgeable about the city and life in Spain more generally. It was a great way to spend our first evening in Madrid and get a little oriented. The only negative for us was that ham and other pork products were (understandably) highlighted, but one of us doesn’t eat much meat. We would’ve appreciated a few more non-meat options, but that may not be realistic.

Great blend of Spanish food and historical conversation. A small group of six people. The guide, Brian, was very well received at the four places that we visited. Our group felt very special and accommodated by staff. The variety of food items and beverages was appreciated.
