We had an absolutely fantastic time on the Secret Food Tour Madrid, and a huge part of that was thanks to our incredible guide, Jorge! From the moment we met him, his warmth and enthusiasm were infectious. He immediately made us feel like we were in great hands. Jorge’s knowledge of Madrid’s food scene is unparalleled. He took us on a culinary journey through the city, introducing us to hidden gems and local favorites that we never would have discovered on our own. Every stop was a delightful surprise – from the best tapas in town to unique local delicacies we didn’t even know existed. What really stood out, though, was Jorge’s ability to share the stories and history behind the food. It wasn’t just about eating (though the food was amazing!), it was about understanding the culture and traditions that made each dish special. He had such passion for Madrid’s food scene and really made us appreciate the city even more. As an added bonus Jorge took us to many historical sites. Many of the establishments had nothing to do with food. We considered this as a two for one tour. Food plus history! The small group size made it feel like a personalized experience, and Jorge was happy to answer all our questions, whether it was about food, local customs, or even recommendations for other things to do in the city. If you’re in Madrid and looking for a fun, authentic way to experience the city’s culinary offerings, I highly recommend the Secret Food Tour, and especially having Jorge as your guide. He made the experience unforgettable!

Jo was amazing! She had a servant mindset, very knowledgeable about the food and culture, and problem solved when streets were closed due to political event. The food stops were awesome and 3.5 hours was enough. Great locations and stops along the way

Met a great group of people and had the opportunity to learn about local foods. Jorge was an amazing guide who provided interesting insights to Madrid history and the local culinary delights. The food was prepared and provided by establishments that locals frequent. We felt like an insider! Tour was definitely worth the time and money. We really enjoyed the experience.

Jo was a great host. Our family thoroughly enjoyed the night, despite the rainy weather! Not a fan of the calamari sandwich, but it was a requirement to try.

FANTASTIC EXPERIENCE!!!! We were a group of 7 plus our amazing guide, Jorge. Jorge was funny, engaging, incredibly knowledgeable and made sure each one of us felt welcome and part of the group. I didn´t have breakfast the morning of the tour as I knew we would eat lots and I still left the tour incredibly full, I´m not having dinner tonight, each single stop was fantastically curated and can´t think of a single thing I tried that I didn´t love. By the end of the tour Jorge asked each one of us which was our favorite stop in the tour and I couldn´t answer as I really couldn´t decide!. I happen to be Spanish and I spent years and years in Madrid, but I still learned soooo much about this city that I thought I knew quite well. Whenever I´m back in Madrid I´ll make sure to do this tour again with friends/family as it´s more than worth it, in no small measure thanks to Jorge!!!
