The tour guide was lovely but we did not expect that 100% of the trip would be via public transport as it was not clear from the title and description. We thought that the tour company would be providing their own transport for pick-up and drop-off and public transport would be used around Nikko for the price we paid. Tickets were also not purchased beforehand and we had to line up with the large crowds as it was Golden Week. Typically the tickets are ready with other tour companies we have booked with. In general, we find that tour guides in Japan are helpful and cordial though they do not share as much information as we would have liked.
