Because of 10min we were not allowed in to make the chocolate ourselves. And they weren't so cultish, so I thought it was very cheeky of the employee. It's a shame the Cailler chocolate is very fond but since today I was disappointed and not understood especially because of my children who were looking forward to it.

I went to Maison Cailler with my sister and daughter when we were visiting Switzerland. The tour is self-guided and we learned a few things about chocolate and the candy making process. I had no expectations before I got there but I was hoping for some samples along the way. Maison Cailler did not disappoint. You have an opportunity to sample a dozen different dark chocolate candies and there are plenty of samples you can leave them. Switzerland is famous for its chocolates and after visiting here I understand why. I highly recommend visiting here especially If you love chocolate as much as I do!!

We visited with our 1.5year old and it was fabulous. Enough to keep him interested with all of the sensory activities - touching, smelling and tasting the nuts and beans and then of course the tasting of the chocolate! We didn’t expect so much chocolate so if you’re going round with a child take wet wipes! Really great interactive activity
