Abe does a great job! It’s worth getting up early for this one. Breakfast is also great at the cafe o’lei.

Went as described. Abe was a great guide and very informative. The ponchos were needed even though we wore warm clothes

This is definitely one of the best excursions I have done and I have done many different things. Ab and Jeff did an amazing job explaining all details, telling us beautiful details of the Hawaiian roots and culture. So many great take aways! The details in the drive to and from were perfect down to the elements in the tour bus cool and warm heat to make you comfortable and then the insulated PARKA WOW absolutely perfect and YES you will need it! You are almost at 10,000 feet in elevation and YES it is 30-40 degrees then add wind dependent on weather. WEAR layers! Worst case you are too warm way better than being too cold and not enough clothes! I honestly can’t say enough. Then the lunch at The Mill House. This property is a joy to walk through and the food was good. Thank you again Ab and Jeff!

Everett was amazing. I felt so lucky that we got him - he really topped off this tour! The pickup was seamless, and the communication with the company leading up to the tour was prompt which made me reassured (had initially booked with another company that did not answer emails or calls). It was the most magical experience to see the blanket of stars above us, get a good spot up at the rails and then see the sunrise. Everett told us interesting facts along the way and was just such a pleasant and positive guide. He was very experienced and timed / planned everything perfectly. The plantation breakfast spot was lovely. The ponchos provided were also a godsend. Thank you Valley Isle and Everett (and the helper we had - apologies - I think Jeff, who was also lovely).
