Process was very easy. Well communicated pick-up and made it to the view point before sunrise. Fleece parkas were provided thank goodness because it was cold even though we dressed in layers. Drive down the mountain was good with pretty views and good information provided by our guides Ben and Abel. Breakfast at the Plantation was very efficient and large portions, we had a bit of time to shop at the farmers’ market which was nice. If you want to do a sunrise tour, these guys were great!

Amazing, amazing, amazing. Pick up and drop off was seamless, and it relieved the stress of reservations + getting there on time to be at the front of the summit. Both of our drivers (I cannot remember their names) were knowledgeable and gave us so much background history; they were also funny! The fleece lined ponchos helped, but I would definitely recommend dressing in layers, and even bringing a warm blanket if possible. Breakfast after was the cherry on top to an already beautiful morning. Definitely worth waking up so early for.

The good: comfortable van, friendly staff, ginger chews for motion sickness. The bad: guides were knowledgeable ( however you had to pry information from them), too much driving around to consolidate vans with other vans and coordinate drop off and pick up, promoting their Road to Hana tour several times (once would have been enough), suggesting the appropriate percentage to tip at the start of the tour, lack of serving the allergy friendly breakfast as confirmed, lack of instruction on use of jackets they provided and best viewing locations, Overall, felt like a very expensive uber ride.

Great experience. We've been to Maui a dozen times in 35 years. We hadn't done Haleakala Sunrise. We are so glad we did, Brad and Abe did a great job getting us up and down the mountain. Both very professional courteous and knowledgeable about the towns, environment and native history. The breakfast turned out to be at Cafe O Lei at the The Plantation House, which was a total surprise. Excellent tour, highly recommend. The sunrise was magical.

I've been to Haleakala 40 years ago and it was moving then. This time the experience was beyond words. Abe chanting as the sun rose brought me and my family to tears. It is something you need to experience at least once. Hopefully you'll be lucky enough to have Abe and Jeff as your guides. Mahalo to you both for your aloha spirit and sharing this wonderful experience with me and my family. This was most definitely the highlight of our Maui adventure.

Getting at 1:30 am wasn't fun, but it was worth. The guides were fantastic, and the breakfast was great. Well worth the time. Would do it again.

Everett and Jeff were fantastic tour guides. They had excellent communication and told us what the plan was ahead of time and fully prepared us for the sunrise. We arrived before any other tours so we could get to the rim for the best view. The fleece lined ponchos made a huge difference. The breakfast at the plantation was incredible. Excellent food and amazing grounds. Well worth the tour price. Highly recommend!

The sunrise on Haleakala was amazing. Our tour guide Abe was very helpful and interesting. His reverence and knowledge of Hawaiian history and culture were so interesting and informative. He also got us up to the viewing area early so we had a great viewing spot on the railing..Dress warmly as the temperature at 10,00 feet above sea level is 20-40 and the wind can blow at 40 miles per hour adding a wind chill. The provided fleece lined parkas did help a lot. A great experience all around.

Breakfast was terrible. And to have it that late too. Way too much talking on the tour - just yapping away. I got moved to the back row even though I chose to sit front row first - and because of that got sick. They provided warm ponchos which didn't do anything - other tours had full jackets that would have been much better - I was freezing. When I did Mauna Kea in Big Island, they had jackets which were much better. When I forgot to bring back my poker chip, got an eye roll. Next time just have the drivers collect them from the tables when everyone sits down. The ONLY highlight was the sunrise. I probably wouldn't recommend this trip to anyone again. (And then to make an ask about 15% tipping at the end, like c'mon. Pay your workers better)
