  We had a great experience up to Haleakala and the breakfast was great. It was very convenient to be picked up and dropped off from our hotel. Obviously, was a a very early start for sunrise (2AM) considering having to pick everyone up but it allowed for us to get a great viewing spot.

  It’s beautiful, starts very early and definitely bring heavy jackets and gloves. Tour guides Brad and ____??were excellent!

  It’s cold up at the crater and you will be standing in one spot for over an hour. Wear warm clothes, coat, gloves are helpful as well. The cold waiting is worth the effort

  Was called by the tour company the day before and confirmed pick up time was 05:50 am. We triple checked with them. At 1:45 am while asleep we were called and told the pick up is less than an hour. Super disorganized, it ruined the planning of our entire day. When i contacted the company to give them feedback, they denied that they had made this error (even though there were two people listening to the conversation and both of us confirmed that they told is 05:50 am pick up).

• Wasted Time with Disrespectful Guide Forgetting to Drop Us Off After Tour

  I want to start off by saying I have never left a negative review of a tour before. During today's tour, after breakfast, our guide Everett drove past our hotel (which was only 5 minutes away from the breakfast place) and said he accidentally forgot to drop us off. We were only about 5 minutes past our hotel in Maalaea but he did not offer to turn around (which would have only added less than 10 minutes to the trip time) or even apologize for his mistake. Instead, he kept going all the way from Maalea to Lahaina and dropped every other traveler off and then drove all the way back to Maalea. We told Everett when he first missed our hotel that it would take an extra hour for us to get back home, and he argued saying it wouldn't. We ended up getting home over an hour and fifteen minutes later than we were supposed to. It was incredibly disrespectful of our time, and we ended up missing an activity we had had planned because we came back so late. Despite this, Everett did not apologize or acknowledge his mistake even once. We understand that mistakes happen, and we honestly would have been fine with it even if he had just apologized or explained if there was some reason that he could not turn around to drop us off. Everett's snarky attitude and defensiveness after his mistake forgetting to drop us off was incredibly rude. This was our last full day in Maui, and it was very disappointing to see Everett prioritize what was convenient for him (he said he would pass our hotel again on the way back over an hour later). Everett was also openly making fun of other customers on the tour for being a few minutes late, loudly saying to the entire tour bus and to Abe (a guide from another bus) "Guess who we're waiting for again". Everett also made a comment about how even if we were staying at the Ritz Carlton, he would've dropped us off later, which was an unnecessary and incredibly disrespectful thing to say to us. I'm not sure what the price of the hotel has to do with not dropping us off when he was supposed to, but it seemed somewhat like he was trying to make us out to be entitled or unreasonable. This whole experience was dampened by the lack of professionalism from our guide Everett.

  This excursion exceeded our expectations. Our large crew enjoyed the ability to get the best view for the sunrise along with wonderful guides to share information and know all the details to enhance our visit. Finishing with a wonderful hearty breakfast left a great memory of a beautiful morning

  What an AMAZING experience!! Sunrise above the clouds on the rim of a volcano!! Are you kidding me?!! Dress WARM and DO IT!! Great company! Easy to book, great communication, and convenient! Guides were informative and helpful! Breakfast was a bonus!

  We had an excellent time on this tour. The tour guides were wonderful and provided a relaxing and fun experience. We felt very well cared for during the trip as well. The location of the breakfast and the food itself was also a great addition to the morning.
