Once at the top, our local guides from Valley Isle Excursions will set you up for the best experience—pointing out incredible viewing locations, sharing tips for seeing the sunrise, and telling stories about the history of the island.

After sunrise, we’ll take a short tour of the remainder of Haleakala National Park and the nearby ranch lands.

It was our first time to experience sunrise at Haleakala. Everett and Bryan took good care of us. The van carried about 20 of us at 2:30 am from the resort. They provided fleece jacket to keep us warm and we were at a great location to experience the sunrise. Everett told great stories about Maui and Hawaiian islands, industry and places to visit. The breakfast was fantastic as well. Great food, drinks, locations with amazing views. We had a lot of fun!

We booked last minute, was worth every penny. They have folks like Everett and Bryan, who pick you up from the hotel and drive down. Best part, they inform everyone what one can do and what shouldn’t do. Very attentive and take such good care, also they provide such good input about the history, place, various things one can do. To end it up with a great breakfast and drop off at the hotel. Whole trip was not boring as they keep everyone involved If booking a trip with this company, be sure to ask for the two. It would make your trip more enjoyable

The experience is unique. Our tour guides Evren and Abe were great. So much side info about the landscape. The breakfast was in a fabulous tropic farm and also so good. The pick up was smooth and punctual. Evren and Abe provided us with extra warm capes to survive the temperatures which are indeed very very cold up there

We so enjoyed our time on the Haleakala Sunrise Tour. They picked us up on time and as communicated! Got us safely to the top and it was an extremely delightful experience. 🙌🏼 Thank you to Valley Isle! We woke up early on our 30th anniversary and this was an amazing celebration. Super grateful! Highly recommend.
