⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely one of the highlights of our Hanoi trip! We had an unforgettable time at Rose Kitchen—the whole experience was friendly, fun, and truly authentic. From the moment we arrived, Chef Alex welcomed us with a smile and guided us through every step with patience and clear instruction. The market visit was fascinating, and Alex shared such great insight into local ingredients and Vietnamese food culture. Back in the kitchen, Alex made everything approachable, even for beginners. We made multiple traditional dishes from scratch and each one was absolutely delicious—better than some of the meals we had at restaurants while in Hanoi! The atmosphere was relaxed but engaging, and Alex’s passion for Vietnamese cuisine really shone through. The setting is beautiful and the class was very well organized. We left with full bellies, new skills, and wonderful memories. Highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Hanoi—especially if you get to cook with Alex!

Had a great experience with Alex and his Aunt learning about the Vietnamese cuisine. He is super knowledgeable and very friendly. I enjoyed the market tour and the process to make many things which included a mango salad, bun cha and spring rolls with egg coffee at the end. Would highly recommend.

We went to the market first where Lisa showed us how to buy the food in Vietnamese and also explained why there is a temple there. Then we cooked together while she explained everything and the food ended up being really delicious. Thank you for the nice experience!
