Step inside the District 9 Distillery and experience firsthand how Saigon Baigur — Southeast Asia’s largest premium gin brand — is crafted. Wander through the working distillery, see your stills in action, and discover the rare botanicals that define the signature Vietnamese spice-forward profile.
Then, take a seat at Vietnam’s only Gin School. Under the guidance of our distillers, you’ll create your very own gin from scratch. Learn the secrets of Vietnamese botanicals, the science of distillation, and enjoy a refreshing gin cocktail as you work.
Your experience concludes in the tropical distillery garden with a final handcrafted cocktail at the bar — the perfect toast to your gin-making journey.

What To Expect
Step inside the District 9 Distilling Company and discover the home of Saigon Baigur. Follow your guide through the production areas and see the full journey of the production of Saigon Baigur gin. Continue into the workshop, where the hands-on part of your experience begins. Distill your own gin in pairs by selecting ingredients from 18 botanicals and learn how citrus, floral, earthy, and spicy notes shape a balanced gin. You will work as pairs of two on one still and take home a 350ml bottles each or one 700ml bottle of gin together. Sip a complimentary cocktail from the signature menu as your spirit develops. When distillation is complete, bottle your gin and personalize your label. Finish your experience in the garden bar, where a second complimentary cocktail awaits. Relax in the shade until 16:30, when the shuttle bus returns you to the city and drops you off at Thao Dien metro station or book your own taxi. IMPORTAN INFORMATION FOR SINGLE TRAVELERS. Distillation will be done in pairs on one still. Each person will be able to take home their own 350ml bottle. If you would like to work alone on a still and take home a 700ml bottle of gin you will need to buy 2 tickets.

5.00Tried the “Create Your Gin” experience at District 9 Distilling Company (Saigon Baigur) and it turned out to be a really fun and refreshing activity. You get to craft your own gin from scratch by choosing botanicals and learning about the distillation process along the way. It was both educational and hands on, which made the whole experience more memorable than a typical tasting session. It is a great activity to do with friends. We had a good time experimenting and comparing our different creations, all with guidance from a friendly and knowledgeable team. If you are looking for something different to do in Saigon beyond the usual food and cafe hopping, this is definitely worth trying.

5.00I joined the Make Your Own Gin experience at Saigon Baigur Gin's Distillery with my friends and absolutely loved it. We learned about gin and local botanicals, then created our own personalized gin using beautiful copper stills. The space is stylish, the team is friendly and informative, and the whole experience feels relaxed and hands-on. Taking home a custom-made bottle at the end was the perfect touch. Highly recommended for friends, couples, or anyone looking for a unique activity in Saigon 🍸✨

The visit itself was kind of short but super interesting and the Saigon Baigur team really took their time - it’s so nice not to feel rushed and to have people actually take the time to answer all the questions (I work in the bar industry so I had LOTS of questions). Of course, what I was most interested in was the actual Gin-making and that was way cooler than I expected. It’s actually a real distillation, allowing you to really make your own stuff. So much fun. I wish I lived here just to be able to come back a few times and create a gin for every special occasion or gift! Thanks to Master Phu and the guide, this was just awesome!
