Malamala Island is situated on a little slice of heaven, just a short 25-minute vessel transfer from Port Denarau. Picture powder white sand and crystal clear water like a scene pulled straight from a postcard. Small enough to stroll barefoot around the island in 20 minutes, large enough to feel like your deserted paradise. Malamala Beach Club is fully equipped with everything you need to switch off, unwind and chill out.

Eat & Drink

Sunlight and breezy, our dining areas cater to anything from poolside snacking to relaxed seated dining. Inspired by our chefs’ rich experience throughout the South Pacific, each dish is balanced, nourishing, and full of fresh Pacific flavours. Expect small bites through to substantial sharing platters, with a few treats to satisfy your sweet tooth. The food menu is complemented by a selection of imported wines, beers, and handcrafted tropical cocktails.

Please bring swimsuit, towel, protective clothing from the sun including a hat and sunblock, light jacket or sweater during the cooler months, money or credit card for optional purchases, your camera and sense of fun!

You must contact South Sea Cruises at least 24 hours before your activity date to confirm your reservation and arrange your coach transfers.

Hotel pickups from Nadi/Wailoaloa start from 8.40am, Denarau -9.15am and Coral Coast 7.25am

Please be ready and waiting in your hotel lobby 10 minutes prior to your scheduled pick up time. Hotels and times are shown on our coach timetable on our website

Passengers staying in Nadi, Wailoaloa and Denarau area depart Port Denarau at 09.30am and can depart Malamala Beach Club at 4:15 or 5.15

Passengers staying in the Coral Coast area depart Denarau at 10.00am and depart Malamala Beach Club at 4.15 to connect with the free coach transfers.

If you do not require pick up, please find your own way to the meeting point - South Sea Cruises Check-in Counter at the Passenger Terminal, Denarau Marina

In the event of adverse weather and sea conditions, we retain the right to cancel all water-based activities, including snorkeling, paddleboarding and kayaking.

We visited Malamala Beach Club and were so disappointed. We booked a beach cabana with a private butler. The cost was exorbitant for the position and service. We were so isolated. From 1pm onwards the butler service was non existent. Eventually we packed up and left the cabana. We went to management with the complaint and they got the butler to come and see us but she denied any wrong doing. We had waited at our cabana and not seen her for two hours. We were extremely disappointed at how management managed the situation and the lack of apology received from them. The Cabana’s are so isolated and you miss everything that is happening at the beach club. We should have chosen another option. We have no desire to return to Malamala and we definitely will not be recommending this beach club. We were on the first boat out. We have done other Captain Cook activities and enjoyed them thoroughly.

☀️ A sun-soaked escape to Mala Mala, where the day was filled with snorkelling in clear waters 🐠, lounging on a poolside bed 🛏️, and soaking up the island’s remote charm 🌴. A great waitress made the experience even more enjoyable with delicious food 🍽️ and plenty of refreshing drinks 🍹. It was pure relaxation, surrounded by the beauty of an island that feels like its own private paradise 🏝️.

Our experience at Malamala Beach Club was fantastic. It's a short trip from Denarau Port to the beach, the staff are well organised and very welcoming. The island is beautiful, water is perfect for snorkelling or just to cool down. Waiter's are on standby to take your drinks and food orders and bring them to you. We loved our day at Malamala Beach Club, highly recommended.

A must do for a memorable day trip to an Island. The Fijian welcome when you arrive, the organisation of key cards and towels. The infinity pool overlooking the beach is beautiful, there is also an adults only infinity pool.You can sit under the trees relaxing and taking in the scenery.The food was delicious

If I could give 10* I would. The Cabana was wonderful, clean and spacious for two people. Estera our Butler was brilliant, polite, fast, respectful and very helpful when my daughter cut her toe on glass that was in the sand. She was very attentive and caring. The food was great and we will definitely be coming back.

If you are looking to see paradise in the flesh this is it. The ride over is short and you are entertained but the Captain and onboard crew. There are only a few people on the ride over so it makes it more intimate and fun. Before you get to Malamala beach please ensure to book a cabana as you will feel like you have your own private beach you also get your own butler to serve you foods and drinks. I would highly recommend 2 person to one cabana. The restaurant on the island is absolutely delicious. Set right near the pool that has an amazing infinity pool. Kids are welcome at this place. It is a beautiful way to start your journey on the Pacific Islands.

Wow!! We loved this tour so much. The boat ride. The people. The island. Everything was amazing. We booked a poolside day bed prior to arriving and highly recommend this! It’s a great way to be able to leave your stuff unattended while you go and do activities. If you don’t do it before hand there is plenty of options to still book when you get there. The drinks are well priced and yummy. The food is great! You can use all the water sports equipment for no extra cost. Best snorkelling experience with a beautiful reef right by the jetty. Jumping off the jetty was fun. The pools were lovely. The massage was amazing and well priced! There are flushing toilets and showers. Lovely facilities. The provide a towel on arrival. Overall we had the best day and would recommend this to anyone who would listen! One of the most beautiful places we have been.
