  The guide was OK. Not bad, but nothing over the top and not super fun or overly informative. We also got the most run down of the VW vans, with a broken door, 40 year old school bus style seats, and a ghetto interior. When we were on the ride, we came up on 3 other of their unused VW vans, all of which were significantly nicer inside. Those would be the same ones you find in their ads. The vineyard itself was fine and scenic enough. Not worth the money and you only get out of it what you yourself put into it, which isn't what you go pay for something for.

  Amazing time! Very personal and intimate tour of the vineyard with family history. Appropriate amount of wine and snacks to keep you comfortable.   My husband and I embarked on an extraordinary journey during our honeymoon, which turned out to be far more than we had anticipated when we booked it on a whim. Initially, we had envisioned a simple wine tasting around the winery, but what unfolded was an unforgettable experience. As we were the only individuals signed up, the tour unexpectedly transformed into a private tour. The breathtaking views and our knowledgeable tour guide surpassed all our expectations. The rich history of the establishment, the delightful company, the unexpected display of the owners’ car collection, and the engaging conversations made this tour truly remarkable.   Seriously the cutest experience, Jonathon our tour guide was sweet and very knowledgeable . Best picture spots ! two hour seems like a lot but it flew by with how fun it was.

  We had a great time with our tour guide Ben. He was fun and very knowledgeable about the beautiful winery. We enjoyed the wine and learning more about Semler winery in Malibu, CA. I highly recommend this tour for something relaxing to do with friends.

  Come wearing comfortable clothes that you will be getting in and out of a VW bus with. Also, no that it seats six people two in the front three in the back one in the front so if you are coupled up, you may be split up at one point. It can be hot, so make sure you have your sunscreen they do provide water. You might even want a hat on our driver was super knowledgeable as we drove around the Vineyards telling us all about the history of the land of the Chumash that used to live there and that we were indigenous to that area Very knowledgeable about the wines, and we had a cute little charcuterie spread. My only thing is I definitely think that the charcuterie could’ve had a little bit more to it. So if you think that you’re gonna get full on your charcuterie, do not think that and make sure you eat beforehand because it starts at one and it goes on almost 3 o’clock with just a snack so stay hydrated eat before you come and you’ll have a lot of fun learning about everything about the property about the wines and about the vineyards. • Amazing vintage VW wine tour!

  Went on the vintage VW bus wine tour with Kurt for my birthday and it was both mine and my husband’s first time! My husband loves vintage VW buses and has always wanted one, so it was nice to be able to enjoy some wine and ride in one. The views on the winery were breathtaking and amazing! Kurt is THE BEST hype man and photographer you’re gonna have on this tour! He knows so much history about the property and shares so much knowledge about the collections and art installations! It kinda reminded me of the tour ride at Universal Studios 😂 We also got to see some animals which was cool, the names he has for all of them were top notch! Also hearing his personal stories of his experiences with Stanley the giraffe was enjoyable! Even though Stanley isn’t there anymore, he shared some awesome updates on him and we can’t wait to plan a trip and visit him at his new home! The wine tour was so much fun but it was even more enjoyable having Kurt lead it! Highly recommend going wine tasting here! Book with Kurt if you can! He’s lots of fun!
