Bula Vinaka! Fuel Surcharge Notice – South Sea Cruises Group Effective for travel from 7 April 2026 (until further notice) Due to a significant increase in global fuel prices, a mandatory fuel surcharge will apply to selected services operated by South Sea Cruises Group (SSCG), including resort transfers and some day trips. Why this surcharge applies Fuel costs in Fiji have risen sharply, with diesel prices increasing by approximately 35% as of 1 April 2026 as compared to March prices. As current fares were set prior to this increase, the surcharge helps offset these unexpected operating costs. Fuel Surcharge Rates (per person) - For this day trip • FJD $20 per adult • FJD $15 per child (2–15 years) The fee is to be paid in FJD and will be collected directly upon check-in at South Sea Cruises Counter on day of travel.

Good snorkeling. Great environment. The food was excellent, like really good. Staff were friendly and helpful. Peaceful and quiet location. The limit on headcount keeps it very uncrowded.

The day trip provided a good introduction to what a small island resort offers compared to the larger “main island” resorts. Malolo was much like a nice lake resort in Minnesota or Wisconsin in that it is all self contained with guest cottages and many water activities.
