On Malta’s spectacular southern coast lies the famous Blue Grotto, a series of sea caves where sunlight and crystal-clear water combine to create dazzling shades of blue. Small boats depart from the nearby harbor, gliding under dramatic limestone cliffs and into the caves for an unforgettable 20-25 minute trip. Early mornings are especially magical, when the sun’s rays make the water glow with brilliant colors.
