  What a fantastic experience! We booked the Maltese Wine & Chocolate Pairing and ended up having what felt like a private tasting session, just the two of us, with the wonderful Jovana. She was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, and the hour absolutely flew by. We tried four local Maltese wines – a rich red, a crisp white, a beautifully sweet dessert wine, and a refreshing sparkling – each perfectly paired with handmade chocolates. The dark chocolate with nuts was a standout, especially with the dessert wine – just divine! Jovana explained everything with such passion, from how the grapes are picked to why each wine is served at a certain temperature, and even how long to enjoy them once opened. The balance between the wines and chocolates was spot on, and we learned so much while simply having fun. It was an experience that mixed education, laughter, and pure indulgence. A quick note: there’s some construction around the area, and the Malta Chocolate Factory is currently tucked behind hoardings, but don’t let that stop you – it’s absolutely worth finding! If you love wine, chocolate, or just great company, this is a must-do in Malta.

  Very informative friendly staff, Jovana talked us through the wine and chocolate pairing, it was all very interesting Jovana explain the different ways the wine was made and we were surprise how different it tasted with the chocolate

  Fun, informative & fabulous chocolates. Delicious wines to try, the combination of pairing with different flavours was interesting, tasty and refreshing to discover the changes in flavour with each pairing, The hosts were great too.

  Interesting 'lecture' on pairing of chocolate with wine. I.e. how the chocolate changes the taste of the wine. We tasted 4 different types of wine (sparkling white wine, rose wine, dessert wine and a red wine), and 5 different chocolates. The staff was friendly: She asked about the groups knowledge of wine before starting the tasting and adjusted the lecture based on our background. She was interested in feedback from the group, and open to change the chocolates for later groups.
