What To Expect
Port of the Islands Marina
The 90 minute covered boat Tour departs from Port of the Islands Marina every 45 minutes daily 365 days per year.
Manatee Sightseeing & Wildlife Adventures
Experienced nature loving Coast Guard licensed captains to narrate the tour in a manner that resonates with children/adults of all ages. Manatees in the wild may be in the harbor area, the residential bays, or in the exciting mangrove forest. Manatees come to the boat over 90% of the time. Patrons enjoy matching birds in the trees to the provided Everglades bird Card. There is a max of 6 passengers per boat. Family groups of 7-42 will use multiple boats staying close.

5.00Booked this tour for me, my wife, our daughter and 2 grandkids. We were lucky enough to have a private tour on the most perfect Florida weather day. Captain Storm told us he’d been doing these tours for 16+ years and it really showed. His knowledge of the local wildlife was impressive and his delivery methods were entertaining for both the adults and kids. This has been an experience the whole family will remember for years. I highly recommend this tour.

5.00Super fun affordable family adventure! We had 5 in our group and toured alone with Captain Storm who was wonderful and provided a fun and informative tour. Boat was clean and safe. We were able to see several Manatee, Alligator, and a variety of different birds during our voyage. You can bring snacks and a cooler if you choose. We did a 1.5 hour tour which was perfect for us. Well organized. Detailed instructions came in an email on how to get there and where to park (free). We did not have to wait long and also had access to a restroom prior to leaving and after our tour. Highly recommended!
It was a pleasant experience with Captain Storm at the helm!!!

5.00Captain storm was excellent. He knew right where to go to find the manatees and other wildlife. He was extremely knowledgeable about the animals and the ecosystems. I’d highly recommend Captain storm to anyone who wants an ice relaxing tour.

5.00Had a great trip with Captain Storm. Stayed with an ‘aggregation’ of about 9 manatees for about 45 minutes then we trailed a pair of very active dolphins for 1/2 an hour. Captain Storm was very informative, engaging and amusing.
