We saw a mother & calf manatee, several alligators and lots of birds (eagle, ibis, blue heron). It was a beautiful, sunny day and Captain John was a delight, telling jokes and sharing info on the area and the wildlife. We would go on this trip again!

Loved it all around. The boat has a fabric shade, was an intimate size with 6 passengers, and the tour was 90min. We went on 3/30/26 and saw manatees within the first 5 minutes, including a baby. The company has several boats so they communicate with each other on where the wildlife is. Captain John was very knowledgeable and had fabulous dad jokes. He took us around the mangroves and we spotted alligators and loads of birds. The visitor center does not have anything for sale but is comfortable and has decent restrooms. Check in and parking was easy. Would recommend!

Our guide was friendly, funny and knew where to find manatees. The boat and group size is small enough so that everyone can easily see everything. While it is technically in the Everglades, the tour takes place mostly in the canals of the town. As a result, there is not a lot of wildlife or birds, other than the manatees and alligators that hang along the edges of the canal. (You do get good views of the beautiful homes with expansive lanais along the canals!) And if manatees are on your bucket list, this is a cost-effective, comfortable and easy-going way to see them.
