No waves or fast speeds and on a covered, 6 passenger boat. Multiple boats for large groups. The only company that sees manatees almost every day of the year! Over 1,000 repeat customers annually.

The 90 minute covered boat Tour departs from Port of the Islands Marina every 45 minutes daily 365 days per year.

Manatee Sightseeing & Wildlife Adventures

Experienced nature loving Coast Guard licensed captains to narrate the tour in a manner that resonates with children/adults of all ages. Manatees in the wild may be in the harbor area, the residential bays, or in the exciting mangrove forest. Manatees come to the boat over 90% of the time. Patrons enjoy matching birds in the trees to the provided Everglades bird Card. There is a max of 6 passengers per boat. Family groups of 7-42 will use multiple boats staying close.

It was a wonderful experience! Captain Joe G was terrific! Knowledgeable, friendly, helpful. He made the experience a great time for us. We saw manatees, a crocodile (which is rare for the area), herons, several types of pelicans and lots jumping fish. We learned a lot about the ecosystem, and I had no idea the area is very protected from hurricanes and storm surge because of the mangroves. Loved the tour, and I highly recommend!

Captain Chris was great- super knowledgeable about the area and the birds and animals. We did see several manatees, a croc (wasn’t expecting that!) and native birds. It was a relaxing cruise down tha canal, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon!

Fabulous tour! Captain Becky was extremely attentive and shared her vast knowledge with our group throughout the trip. We loved the fact that it was just our group of four on the boat. We saw the manatees, sharks, and alligators. We also learned a lot about the animals and the areas they inhabit. 10 out of 10!

Tour guide Becky was awesome! She put us in position to see multiple manatees, a handful of gators and some young bull sharks. We also saw many birds as she explained the eco system. She was lovely and made the trip fantastic!

we were very happy with the wildlife we saw. We were lucky to see several manatee rolling over and popping their noses up, a large alligator and a smaller one and the highlight was a huge old saltwater crocodile lounging out the sand bake.
