What To Expect
Mangrove Cay is a haven for marine and bird wildlife. In the channels and shallows surrounding the cay, it’s common to sight juvenile lemon sharks and nurse sharks, small turtles, conch, southern brown stingrays, starfish, and many types of juvenile fish. The sheltering and complex root systems of the larger mangrove trees often hide schools of tiny fish. Birdwatching is also great, and sightings include brown pelicans, green herons, tricolored herons, reddish egrets, and American oystercatchers.

5.00Our tour guide AKA Pelican Eyes was great! He took the time to point out numerous turtles, fish, conch and a jellyfish. We booked at the last minute and they were so accommodating to reach out to us the night before to let us know our pick up time from our condo. The drivers to and from our tour were prompt and courteous. Highly recommend this tour to everyone. LOVED IT!!

5.00My husband and I had a great time with our tour guide, "The Goat"! We booked a last minute tour at 5pm and ended up being the only ones on the tour which made it a private experience. This was especially nice seeing that the tour next to ours was full of a bunch of drunk, obnoxious people. We got pi ked up and dropped off at our hotel. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and a good time! I also highly recommend going for the evening tour. The weather and water were beautiful, it was not too hot and the sun was starting to set, making it picturesque! We saw tons of sea turtles, lemon shark, some conch and jellies. I also think it helped that we weren't with a lot of other people to be able to see so many! Im also 6 months pregnant and had no troubles at all. The kayak is very low key and relaxing. Highly recommend it!
