Each tour is led by a Cayman resident naturalist, and every experience is curated and bespoke to our guests' interests. Whether you're fascinated by wildlife, native plants, geology, history, or local culture, we tailor the experience to create a meaningful day outdoors.
Along the way, you'll learn how to spot details most visitors miss, gain insight into animal behaviors in the wild, and discover a side of the island most visitors never get to see.
We often spend our time spotting wildlife, exploring rugged coastal landscapes, and discussing bush medicine and the traditional uses of native plants. Every tour is a little different, with the goal of creating memorable moments immersed in nature.
Many guests tell us they wish they had taken this tour on their first day, as the local knowledge and perspective they gain often enrich the rest of their visit.

Wildlife, Plants, History and Culture: Join a local resident Naturalist as you explore mangrove forests, coastal woodland, and rugged limestone shoreline with opportunities to observe wildlife in their natural thriving ecosystems. This is more than a hike. Through engaging storytelling and expert interpretation, you'll gain a deeper understanding of the plants, animals, landscapes, and natural processes that shape Grand Cayman. Along the way, you'll explore several different ecosystems and learn how the island's ecology, geology, history, and culture are connected. Ideal early in your visit, this experience provides valuable local insight and a new perspective on the island. Something we hear every day... "We wish we had done this on our first day!"

5.00My wife and I decided to explore the island a little more than usual. When searching alternative ways to do so we came across wonder. Ryan our guide was amazing! This guy knows basically everything about the nature, geology and history of the island. He’s super accommodating to questions and needs. He also has a good set of eyes and can spot interesting flora and fauna seeming out of nowhere. The costal views of the walk were stunning and interesting. I’d definitely recommend.

5.00Incredible tour that shows a different side to Grand Cayman! My wife and I joined a few friends in taking this tour and we are so glad we did it. The guide Ryan was so knowledgeable about everything from the plants and wildlife to the history of the island and you can tell he loves what he does. The scenery on the hike was absolutely stunning and it was so cool to stop and have Ryan point on awesome facts on things like birds and insects that we wouldn’t have even spotted on our own! All in all it was a brilliant tour and I would highly recommend it to visitors to the island as well as locals who are keen to learn more about Grand Cayman’s flora and fauna.

5.00We had a great experience on our hike. Ryan was the perfect guide and knew so much about the flora, fauna, history, and culture, that he was able answer all of our questions. He tailored the experience to our small group. We walked through several different ecosystems and Ryan knew where to find all the interesting plants. We even got to taste a couple of them! Would definitely recommend.

5.00Tired of the beach? Then this is a must! Ryan is both extremely knowledgable about all the birds and insects along the way, and it was fascinating to hear more about the mangroves (did you know they come from Africa?!) the walk is relatively easy, so don’t be put off!
