A thorough lecture on how to hold the paddle, how to operate the kayak, and tips on how to proceed successfully.
The guide will kindly tell you things to be careful about when getting on and off, and anything you don't understand.
《All necessary equipment is free to rent! 》
Life jackets, sandals, towels, hats, waterproof cases, and rain gear are available for rent (^^)
You can participate anytime as long as you wear clothes that you don't mind getting wet!

Kadena Town is 45 minutes by car from Naha.
Access is also good, taking only 25 minutes from the Onna village area!
It's right off the main road, National Route 58, so it's easy to find the way and it's hard to get lost.

What To Expect
There are five tours a day (9:00, 10:00, 11:00, 13:00, 15:00), and same-day reservations are also accepted. It takes two hours from meeting to disbanding, making it an activity that can be easily incorporated into your travel plans. When you arrive at the meeting place, you will check in, change clothes, practice paddling, and then start kayaking. Enjoy kayaking on the Hija River at your own pace while watching the mangroves for about an hour. After getting out of the kayak, you will change clothes and your guide will give you a photo of your memories. The Hija River, which can be enjoyed casually, has many attractions, including mangroves, cute creatures such as small crabs and gobies, and plants that give you energy. 5.00Fantastic experience in Kadena! We wanted to see a mangrove forest, and we got to see it! We saw crabs, birds, salamanders and the giant flag mice! We were also so lucky to see a special type of crab you rarely see. We cost ourselves in kayak and would recommend it to everyone. Our guide was also very nice. He was blessingly funny and kind. He spoke good English and I got to practice some Japanese with him. It felt like a trip with friends, not just guides and strangers. Super pleasant experience! Only 15 minutes from Chatan/American Village. Recommended to everyone!

4.00Well organised, good guide, shown how to paddle if a newbie, photos taken along the way, very safety conscious, good for all standards of experience. Toilets and changing area and showers available if required. Route was okay, not the most interesting I've done but still enjoyable. Thank you.
