What To Expect

Key Largo

Mangrove Tunnel Kayak Adventure. Experience the waters off Key Largo as a local during this 3 hour tour in the mangroves off Key Largo. Kayak through crystal clear waters as we learn about the mangroves and their importance to the ecosystem of the Florida Keys. Learn about the birds, fish, turtles, and manatees that frequent these areas. For those that are interested snorkel through some of the tour as you experience the world under the mangroves as well. For those booking a 2 or more guests, we will automatically assign tandem (2 person) kayaks to those travelers. Travelers requesting single kayaks…please call us after booking to request single kayaks.

Tour wound up just being the two of us. We went in the early afternoon but it wasn’t too hot. Not buggy at all. Didn’t see much wildlife but it was a nice way to spend a little time. Tour guide Fritz was nice. He gave a lot of recommendations of other things to do and restaurants

I lead tours of the Florida Keys and Everglades. My company just switched d over to Florida Bag outfitters and they are a class act. Kayaks are always ready and it is a seamless process booking with them. Highly recommended!

We lucked out and had a private tour with Mark! He was funny, knowledgeable, and super nice!! I would HIGHLY recommend requesting Mark for your guide. You will not be disappointed!!

Group of 7 ladies had a great morning! Guides Mark and Fitz were calm, cool and kind-we appreciated them very much! They even supplied snacks and water. We would love to do it again another time of year when it isn’t a million percent humid with mosquitos but still a great time. Bring bug spray and sunscreen!

Nice excursion. Kayaking the mangroves part was not as expected. You’re literally pulling yourself through by grabbing branches as there’s no room to paddle. The mosquitoes were terrible, even with bug spray. You go through that part very slow and it’s a feeding frenzy. Our guide was nice and the equipment was decent. I liked the trip, just didn’t care for the slow part. It’s worth doing, just be prepared. I did have to reschedule due to weather and the staff I dealt with took good care of me.

Just us on the tour, so very lucky to get a private guide! Really enjoyed it. No manatees, unfortunately. So relaxing kayaking around the mangroves. Would recommend.

Very relaxing and guide was very knowledgeable. We had perfect weather and got to stop and look into the clear water to see all the plants and animals. All the staff worked well together in a very laid back environment. We were lucky and ended up being the only ones- we heard people cancelled due to the hot weather but it was amazing- had a cooling breeze and some clouds.
