If you're visiting Manila and want to truly understand the city beyond the tourist surface, this tour is absolutely worth your time. I had an incredible 3-hour journey through three of Manila's most historically rich districts, and I left with a much deeper appreciation for the Philippines and its people. Our first guide, Floyd, led us through Tondo and Binondo, and he was genuinely one of the best guides I've ever had. He didn't just recite facts -- he told real stories, shared honest perspectives, and gave us an authentic look at everyday Filipino life. Walking through the bustling alleys of the market and then stepping into the world's oldest Chinatown felt seamless and exciting with him leading the way. You could tell he's genuinely proud of where he comes from, and that enthusiasm is contagious. Then came Jane for the Intramuros portion, and she was equally impressive. Her knowledge of the colonial history, Fort Santiago, and the Manila Cathedral was remarkable. She brought the walled city to life in a way that no guidebook ever could. Thoughtful, warm, and incredibly well-informed -- she was the perfect way to close out the tour. Together, Floyd and Jane were a fantastic team who both shone a genuinely positive light on the Philippines. This tour was one of the highlights of my trip, and I cannot recommend it enough. Book it. You will not regret it.

Was what I was looking for and more. Two fabulous guides - Venus and Jane. Visited Tondo, Intramuros, China Town - learnt so much about the history, day to day life and the changing shape of Manila. I was nervous going on my own but a Grab from the Hotel, helpful drivers, an easy meeting place and helpful guides made the experience stress free! Thanks so much Venus and Jane. Definitely recommend this walking tour! ❤️

This was a really eye-opening experience. Venus was a great guide that led us through the streets and markets of Tondo and Binondo (including trike and Jeepney rides), before we were handed off to Jane to finish our tour in Intramuros. The whole experience was excellent, with snacks and drinks provided at various stops along the way, and the tour at about 3 hours long was the perfect length. It's worth noting that the Tondo area can be a bit confronting if you havent experienced anything like it before, but Venus did a great job of leading us all through at a respectable pace such that it didn't feel exploitative in any way. Would definitley recommend this to people that want to see a more honest view of Manila compared to that offered by BGC/Makati.

I had one full day in Manila, my first visit to the Philippines. This tour had a great tour covering Intramuros, Cathedral, For Bonafacio, Binondo (Chinatown), and "real life Manila" where we toured the narrow neighborhood alleys and the "slums" and a wet market. The absolute standout was our guide Floyd, who also happens to be federal law officer enforcement by day. Floyd absolutely made the difference, providing background from a true local with knowledge, passion, and excellent speaking skills. We got to try Manila-chinatown specific foods (I'm ethnic Chinese and have been to many chinatowns in the world, so I wanted something specific to Manila.) We rode a jeepney, and an 8-person tuktuk. We got to see real local modern life, including street internet terminals, owner who raises fighting rooster, and other things. Get on this tour... everyone felt they very much got their money's worth. Note: there seems to be a lot of dependency on the tour guide availability (understandable). Not all time slots will be available if the guide isn't available. I signed up for an 8am, which ended up not happening so they rescheduled me for 11am. Even with this, I would prioritize this tour and make room in your schedule.

Amazing tour with Floyd. Got to see the real Manila. Walked around a neighbourhood to see how people really live. Although it felt a bit awkward everyone was very friendly. Next we got a tuk tuk around the local markets and through to Chinatown. All very interesting. We then caught a local Jeepney to Intramuros where Floyd handed us over to another tour guide (Jane I think?). She was very knowledgeable about the site. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone. There is a bit of walking so wear comfortable shoes - and cover up as Manila is very hot in the sun!

We enjoyed this tours as a family of 2 adults and 2 children aged 10 and 11. We explored the oldest church in the Philippines, low - high classes of Manila…
