Great guide, knew the locals, in-depth knowledge of the area, and fantastic connections with the market. We had good, walked the market, had a ride in the tuk tuk and took lots of photos.

Do not hesitate to book this tour with Venus. Wife and I had an absolute blast hanging out with Venus. A little bit of rain did not stop Venus from being awesome. She is very knowledgeable, funny and communicates non-stop with you. Venus is high energy and will show you a wonderful time. She will safely take you places that would be overwhelming to attempt by yourself because the night market is busy, busy, busy! Go for it… Book with Venus!

What a great experience walking through this night market to see all the hard work required to feed a huge city like Manila. This market seems very authentic and not at all like a touristy place, despite that the locals in the market met us with a smile as we walked through. After taking this tour I think you’ll appreciate your next meal a little more. I would recommend for groups or solo travels.

If you only have 1 night in Manila, I strongly recommend that you spend the evening with V. Let me tell you why… Think of this as a night out with a local who is a great communicator/ story teller, someone who is experienced and can tell you the history of Manila. V gave us useful context and background, a glimpse into the life of a local and some before and after comparisons. V is a proud ambassador of Manila, Philippines. V took us on a whirlwind tour and it felt like 3 nights rolled up into 1! First we had the markets (wet, dry, veg, fruit, clothes). We would’ve never found our way around the markets and didn’t end up buying anything but if you did, I’m sure V will be more than happy to negotiate for you. Then we rode 3 different modes of public transport and ate all the local street foods including balut (duck embryo). Let’s be honest, we would’ve never dared to try that if V didn’t feed it to us 😂 finally we took a walk through Poblacion, got some delicious dessert, saw some great bars and ended the tour in a 360 view roof top bar. I’m still amazed at how much we saw in a mere few hours!! It is such a fine art to balance information and a fun night out whilst keeping everyone safe and on schedule. V has curated a fantastic tour that is exciting to the senses and I would recommend her to everyone who visits Manila!
