Really liked the stop at the American Cemetery and learned a lot there! The stops at Intramuros at Fort Santiago and the Manila Cathedral were good but not as informative. Our guide Marloo told us facts and trivia along the drive and at the sights. The van was only so-so and not that comfortable; and the tour went over and we returned to the hotel an 1.5 hours late, maybe due to the bad traffic?

It was a rainy day in Manila & there was only me in the small bus but the guide & driver did a great job to show me around & bring me back to my hotel. I loved it

It was nice to have a private tour. The guide and driver were very accommodating. They even showed us which vendor had the best “dirty ice cream.”

Shocking that solo travelers are charged double -listed price £45 becomes £83?! Please remove the tag saying: “it’s great for solo travellers”!! Travel to the old part took a long time and the return was never-ending& often through slow-moving traffic in the evening. I checked the latest return time beforehand and was told 5hrs. The guide Malu left after the scheduled stops -I was dropped back at 8pm! No pre-warning of such delay: 7hr tour with no regard for our commitments after the tour and no WiFi to inform anyone. Had to borrow driver’s mobile. Not much covered overall.

A very educational experience, learned a lot of history about the different places visited. Our tour guide, Nori was like a history professor showing us the different historical places in Makati and Manila explaining the historical significance found in each place. Great experience.

It is essential to know the history of Manila. It is short but it is an entertaining walk. You see the contrasts of this city.

Stella and Oswald did a phenomenal job. Stella knew the sites and context effortlessly. Oswald navigated the Manila streets expertly. The visit to the US cemetery in Manila was somber and historically underpins the visit to the intramuros later on in the day. Highly recommend
