Begin the day with a drive to the picturesque city of Tagaytay, a popular tourist destination because of its cool climate and picturesque scenery. It is located on a ridge 2,250 feet above sea level, which offers a panoramic view of Taal Lake and Volcano, known for being the smallest active volcano in the world.
The tour includes a stop for a brief lunch in one of the local restaurants where you can enjoy sumptuous Philippine cuisine and delicacies popular to the region. After that, prepare for the trip back to Metro Manila.
Our sightseeing tour of Manila starts with a visit to the American Cemetery and Memorial. The cemetery site or the resting place of our soldiers who lost their lives during the WWII, covers 152 acres. This contains the largest number of graves of any cemetery for U.S. personnel killed during World War II, a total of 17,191 and 36,286 missing in action who are recorded upon the walls of the memorial.

A very long day with a lot of traffic time. If possible, I would suggest breaking this into two different tours. I wished we had spent more time in Tagaytay as there looked like a lot to see. No souvenirs from Tagaytay - the places we stopped didn’t have any or we walked by them? Disappointed with the lunch at fast food Max. This is a beautiful tourist town with a lot to explore…take a full day. The Intramuras, 2nd half of the day was as expected. A lot of traffic. Overall, a great tour.

I did a solo private tour of Tagaytay and Manila City. The trip to Tagaytay included lunch at a fast food restaurant which didn’t suit my taste made me nauseous almost immediately. I was famished but couldn’t eat at all at that place . I was so disappointed with the bad lunch as that was my first meal in 24 hours but when I expressed my dissatisfaction to the guide Omar, he was extremely understanding and immediately spoke to his manager and arranged for different food. This was a very kind gesture and I must also appreciate his through knowledge about Manila’s history and culture that I learnt so many new things that I never knew earlier. Overall a must-do tour!

The Tagaytay area is beautiful and has lots of history. The ancient churches are a must see. Excellent driver and knowledgeable tour guide!

A great way to see Manila and learn the history of the city and the Philippines in general! The volcano was really cool and the lunch spot had an incredible view. Probably better than the Palace in the Sky did, but the Palace in the Sky did have some nice souvenirs. The cemetery was somber and beautifully maintained. The Fort and Cathedral were also interesting historical sites. There was a fair amount of walking despite being driven around. Fair warning - the driving in Manila is not for the faint of heart - trust your driver but if you get road sick, maybe take some meds. Also, another thing we weren't aware of is that some of the museums are closed on Mondays. So that was sad, but our tour guide kept us plenty entertained and busy and showed us great places to buy souvenirs without feeling pressured into buying anything.

Fernando and Osmund were both very nice to interact with. Fernando had a wealth of knowledge and very much enjoyed interacting with him whether in traffic or while we were seeing the sites. Highly recommend and don’t forget to tip your guides for sharing their knowledge, local tips/tricks, safe driving, interpreting, etc…
