Short boat ride, and a little eerie at first. We thought we might not even see any, but when they arrived -- it was super intense and a bucket list experience. Definitely recommend this one!

It was just ok- was expecting a lot more based on prior reviews. We had 7pm check in, but didn’t get on the boat till 7:45. Normally wouldn’t be an issue, but it was raining and there is nowhere to wait as the meeting point is by the bathrooms. Out of 20 min in the water, we saw manta rays for probably 2 min. I was in between two guides and both were speaking at the same time so couldn’t hear either one very well. Kids got cold towards the end. For most of us this was the least favorite activity on the island. For this price, I wouldn’t recommend it though it was cool to see the mantas for those 2 mins.

We saw 2 manta rays . They are huge. It’s a very nice experience. I wanted to see a lot of mantas but only saw 2 . The wet suits(it’s actually just a shirt suit) smell like dirty rags . The website always says one price then when you click on it changes . It would say $70.00 but when you click on it changes to $100.00 . They try to sell you a more expensive one as well guaranteed to see mantas . The drive of the dock is like 1 minute. Not very far. Over all I’ll give it a 4 star . I mean no one wants to take you to the ocean at night to swim. I visitor should get sued for posting a different price on the website and deception customers .

One of the best excursions you can do on the big island. It was very efficient and a simple process. The crew was awesome, very knowledgeable, helpful, and had great energy. I would highly recommend to anyone who wants to experience something unique to the island. We did the tour on 6/24/25 at 7:00pm. Shout out to that team! You guys rock!
