Was great! Tour guides were all super friendly. My daughter was terrified of ocean at night and they helped her through anxiety to get in water and experience the amazing manta rays! Forever grateful!!!

Recommend. We were the 1st group, 7pm, out on a 72 degree Friday evening. Everyone was friendly and engaging. You check in at a van, where you can rent wet suit tops for $10 and go pros for $40. They make you leave towels and anything not going into the water here. Then an easy short walk to the pier. Where you drop your shoes and get into a small raft type boat. You’re given snorkel gear and foot floatation ring. Slide into the water and a short swim to the light bar. 30 minutes went quickly, yet it felt like a good amount of time. We saw several mantas. One brush by our whole group. And a baby one. A really great experience. I was so busy looking I forgot to take photos. We did get some incredible Go Pro video.

Hands down the best experience we had in Kona! Deavon greeted us and explained everything patiently. The entire crew was kind and knowledgeable and was making sure we’re safe and comfortable the whole time. Soon as we got in water we instantly saw quite a few mantas swimming around - absolutely mesmerizing! This is a small operation but their price is fair and the small group experience was great. Highly recommend it to anyone who’s looking to try manta ray snorkel on the big island.

I’m going to give an honest feedback so you won’t be as disappointed as our group was. This company is pretty much running tourists as cattle. They say the tour is approximately 80 minutes…. You have got to be kidding me. We have pictures from the moment we dropped into the water until the time they said “ok time to get out” and it was 21 minutes. This tour group couldn’t care less about your experience and only about your money. They literally have you “check in at the van” and run tourist every 45 minutes. So the “80 minutes” they promise isn’t even possible. No one was all that friendly either. I felt scammed. Look elsewhere.

The tour was the highlight of our trip! It was very well organized from check-in to finish. The captain and the crew were very helpful and full of knowledge. My family including a 7 year old really enjoyed the tour and saw many manta rays swim in close proximity.

We were really impressed with the tour overall. It was a quick intro and set up. Instructions were overall well done and we saw about six or seven Mantas with a number of passes on the board. This is my second time going but my family‘s first time with my eight and 10 year-old. They were all blown away by how close the manta rays got. It’s a very unique experience. This is a very unique experience. I would highly recommend this tour company for families. I would strongly recommend going when it is completely dark for the best experience.

It was a beautiful experience, I booked this for 2 of my family members who went inside the ocean and did snorkel. The crew was very professional and knew what they were doing. They offered wet suits to keep ourselves warm and informed about all possible marine life we might encounter in ocean during our exploration. They couldn’t spot any Manta Rays for the time slot we had but the crew was mindful about that and offered them an option to comeback and snorkeling again in another trip. Since we were leaving the next day from Hawaii we couldn’t go back but we are offered a trip anytime when we come back and wish to snorkel. Our main point of contact was Deavon and our guides included Greg, Eric and 1 more person. I thank the entire team for hosting this experience.

I went as a ride along passenger with my family to night snorkel tour. It was an amazing experience for me. I don’t know how to swim and was afraid of getting into ocean at night hence chose to ride along. The entire crew was very professional. They knew what they were doing. They were very polite, and mindful about everyone in our group. Our main point of contact was Deavon and the boat ride had 3 guides, Greg, Eric and 1 more. As a ride along the part I enjoyed the most was sitting in the boat with entire dark ocean in front and a dark sky with stars shining above me, listening to the sound of ocean and watching Big Island from distance. They were also providing life jackets to those who were not very comfortable with swimming. It was a good experience.
