What To Expect
Manta guarantee policy, if you don’t see them come again Free! Manta Ray Night Snorkel in Kona! After a 3 minute boat ride from the harbor, you’ll enter the water and float on the surface while holding onto our custom-built light board. The powerful 150,000+ lumen dive lights attract plankton, which in turn draw in majestic manta rays that glide and feed just inches below you. It’s a breathtaking, up-close experience guided by our professional team, including a licensed captain, swim guide, and certified lifeguard. Water time is approximately 20 to 40 minutes depending on various situations ocean conditions, etc. *Statistically the later at night you go the more manta rays and the more time we have the manta rays increases significantly! The earlier you go, very crowded, making it harder to get manta rays must know how to swim and be comfortable in open ocean conditions. Wetsuits & lifejackets are optional rentals and can be arranged. Free masks and snorkels are provided, or you may bring your own.

5.00All the staff were friendly and and fun and did their jobs well. I learnt a lot about the manta rays and the strange story of their regular visits to the bay. The water was pleasantly warm - the manta rays were incredible and came up very close by choice. That point is also very important - the activity seems quite ethical, the rays are left alone to do their stuff and they're happy to come close doing something they would do anyway (eating large amounts of plankton). A win win arguably. Highly recommended - if you're a less comfortable swimmer it may be a bit scarier although the team were very supportive.

5.00I can’t say enough amazing things about this tour! From beginning to end we had outstanding service, friendly employees and endless manta puns. Shout out to Deavon, the infamous walking blessing! He was kind and informative! Captain Shaka, Eric and crew were wonderful out in the water and told us so many interesting facts about the mantas. 100/10 would recommend! Although Big Bertha didn’t make an appearance we had a manta-full evening!

5.00🌊 Unforgettable Night with the Manta Rays! This was hands-down one of the most incredible experiences we’ve ever had. Floating under the stars while massive manta rays glided inches from our faces—it was surreal, mesmerizing, and absolutely magical. You could feel their grace and power as they swooped and danced in the water around us. Truly something everyone should experience at least once in their life. Captain Shocka brought the perfect mix of fun and professionalism. His energy was infectious, and we felt completely safe and well cared for the entire time. Jake and the crew were just as fantastic—knowledgeable, kind, and clearly passionate about what they do. They made sure everything ran smoothly and that we were comfortable from start to finish. If you’re in Hawaii and looking for something unforgettable, this is it. We’ll be talking about this night for Many nights to come! Mahalo!
