Manu National Park

We begin our adventure with pickup from your hotel in Cusco at 5:30 AM, aboard a comfortable private vehicle. We will travel through the majestic Andean mountains, surrounded by stunning landscapes and picturesque traditional villages. Around 10:30 AM, we will arrive at Manu National Park, a natural paradise known for its extraordinary biodiversity. From here, we will enter the fascinating cloud forest, where we will hike and visit hidden waterfalls, while watching incredible animals and plants; such as the rooster of rocks, monkeys, orchids and exotic birds. Our refuge will be the Amazon Pona Lodge, a comfortable and welcoming place where we will spend the night. As evening falls, we will take a night excursion into the jungle, exploring the mysterious trails for tarantulas, poison frogs, snakes and other nocturnal creatures such as monkeys and armadillos. A unique experience that only the rainforest can offer!

Day 2

Day 2: AMAZON PONA LODGE – EXPLORATION AND RETURN TO CUSCO

Manu National Park

After a delicious breakfast, we will go deeper into the heart of the jungle to hike the ecological trails, always accompanied by our expert naturalist guide. Throughout the day, you will be able to observe various species of fauna such as capuchin monkeys, collared peccaries, squirrel monkeys and a wide variety of birds, including parrots and toucans. We will also learn about medicinal plants used by local communities. We will visit a small lake where we will take a wooden raft to explore the habitat of various aquatic species. Here you will have the opportunity to observe the Hoatzin, a prehistoric bird, along with herons, cormorants and the charming fishing martin. After lunch in the jungle, if you wish, you can enjoy a refreshing swim in the river or try your luck with sport fishing. In the afternoon, we will return to Cusco, finishing our experience in the Manu. We'll make it to the end of the day, leaving you at your hotel.
