Our expert sculptors guide them step by step, ensuring they create their own marble artwork, which they take home as a lasting memory.

What To Expect
During this unique experience, participants will immerse themselves in the art of marble carving in the heart of Athens. They will learn about the history of marble and stone craftsmanship in ancient Greece, explore the MarbleArt collection, and create their own marble sculpture using traditional hand tools. Guided by experts, they will be taught how to use these tools to engrave personal symbols onto marble, following techniques dating back to antiquity. This hands-on workshop combines creative expression, historical insight, and practical sculpting skills. At the end of the activity, each participant will take their unique creation home as a keepsake. Additionally, participants will have the opportunity to take a guided walk through Athens’ historic center, where they can discover and photograph iconic sculptures, fully engaging with Greek culture in a welcoming and inspiring environment.

5.00Absolutely amazing experience. The class was so much more than a simple marble sculpting class. It felt like a real introduction to art itself. The instructor was incredibly knowledgeable, passionate and took time to explain the history, theory, and meaning behind marble sculpting before guiding us through the hands-on process. What I loved most was that we were encouraged to create our own design rather than just copy something. The instructor was genuinely passionate about helping everyone bring their ideas to life. Working with marble was challenging but incredibly fun, and the atmosphere made it fun and approachable even for beginners. One of the highlights of my trip and something I’ll remember for a very long time. Highly recommend to anyone interested in art, creativity, or trying something truly unique.

5.00My girlfriend and I had an amazing time doing this. The host was knowledgeable and accommodating, and his assistant Daphne was absolutely amazing. Even though my carving wasn't very good she was relentlessly encouraging and provided lots of help asking with a good dose of humour. We never felt rushed through the process despite the fact that we ran past the scheduled end time. This was our favourite activity from our 5 days in Athens and I would highly encourage anyone who wants to try something uniquely Greek to consider this.

5.00A must do experience while in Athens! The host was very knowledgeable and gave us history as well as a creative exercise to help us tap into our artist mind. Christina was so sweet and an excellent artist. She helped us create our sketches for our marble and was very hands on and encouraging through the whole experience. So grateful I gave this a try and now I have a one-of-a-kind souvenir to commemorate my time in Athens ! 10/10 would recommend
