A thoroughly enjoyable adventure. Sean is an amazing host, and engaging promoter of all that is great about Margaret River. Starting out with a brilliant canoe trip along the river (great fun), the day continued with a visit to Fraser Gallop Estate winery for lunch, wine tasting and a behind-the-scenes look at the operation of one of area’s best vineyards. The off-road trek to the coast near Wilyubrup provided brilliant views. One of the highlights of our visit to WA.

What an experience. While this tour included a wine tasting/tour at one of the finest wineries in the region (including a delicious lunch), we also experienced some time on the water canoeing up the Margaret River, local honey tasting and a 4WD track to some of the most beautiful scenery along the Cape to Cape walk we have seen. All this while gaining an understanding of how the land/weather contributes to the best wine making land. An excellent small group tour worth every cent. Sean was incredibly knowledgeable and a great guide. And it is true what he says - you dont get wet while canoeing and catered to all levels of confidence and activity levels. Do yourself a favour and book in advance. Highly recommend.

What a wonderful day we had. Sean is the ultimate professional and you can clearly see that he loves what he does and the environment he is working in. A peaceful canoeing experience on Margaret River ( totally safe and you don’t get wet or dirty) followed by a coffee break on the waters edge near Surfers Point. Then reflections by a pool looking at the history of the indigenous people in the area. Lunch and a wine tasting at Fraser Gallop Estate. All 7 wines we tasted were top notch. We were lucky enough to meet the head winemaker and learn about the winemaking process. We then headed to the coast for the stunning view of the rugged coastline. Probably the best one day experience of an area we have ever had.

We went yesterday April 30 2026 on a day tour with the Margaret River Discovery company led by Sean. Its probably the best tour I have experienced. Sean was knowledgeable, humorous and with a deep understanding of nature, wine and the aboriginal way of life. It was great fun throughout the day from canoeing, wine tasting and walking the spectacular cliffs. I would highly recommend this tour Jim and Lynn Estill

Sean was a fabulous host / guide from start to finish! There was a small group of 6 of us and in summary, we started with some Canoeing - we all stayed, clean, dry & safe. Sean made sure of that! Then a tour around a winery followed by a superb lunch and finished off with a drive to a beautiful coastal spot fir a short walk. Sean took loads of photos of us and the group during the day too. He was full of stories, plenty of banter, great food, wine & activities! Not one to miss!

This was an amazing trip which provided a very unique experience. Sean was very knowledgeable, helpful and attentive. If you are worried about about the canoeing, don’t be as Sean really looked after us,we are both older travellers and I had never been in canoe before. He also very kindly took some amazing photographs for us. The cliff walk was beautiful, calm and serene. Thanks Sean xx

Absolutely brilliant! I have recently had a hip replacement and was slightly anxious about getting into and out of the canoe safely while remaining dry: with Sean's assistance it was not a problem. I am also lactose intolerant. Lunch at the winery was very well catered with some vegan cheese / dips just for me as well as the usual charcuterie board favourites that l could eat. The walk around the winery was also interesting. The portion of the Cape to Cape track that we walked was really a saunter with spectacular views. I will definitely book this tour again.

This tour was recommended by friends and it was amazing. Sean is a great operator with a broad appreciation of the geography, history, wine industry and the people of MR, together with a love of the outdoors and local wildlife. The day was insightful, fun and most enjoyable and definitely a must for anyone visiting the Margaret River area. Remember to book ahead!!! Thanks Sean.
