Wonderful experience, Highly recommend. Loved the seal colony and visit to Mariah Island. The team, skipper Steve and guide Tamsin, were both knowledgeable and went out of their way to ensure all on board had a great time.

It was a fantastic day. Very well organized. I highly recommend this day cruise. The Captain, a gentleman by the name of Michael is truly impressive. And his first mate Ruby, is an absolute gem. Employee of the year!

We booked with Maria Island Cruises on the Ionger cruise to the island of seals but because of the rough weather we circumnavigated Maria Island instead and I was so glad we did. The weather was calmer and the scenery spectacular. I have seen many cliffs in my world travels and travelling in Tasmania but these were unique. Michael, the owner and captain, was amazing: his knowledge of the area and his skills in positioning the boat where all could see was an absolute delight and the care shown by his crew making sure everybody was secure, comfortable and happy was exceptional. Maria Island is a fascinating place with a varied and interesting history. I can not recommend this tour highly enough.

I have been on many small boat trips and the briefing given by the skipper was the best I have ever heard. He spoke about how to manage the early symptoms of seasickness to prevent them deteriorating, which was the best explanation I've ever had. We had a calm day and there were no issues of seasickness. With passion he explained the geography of the island and took us into the caves with plenty of time for photos et cetera. The balance between travelling the waves, and peacefully watching the seals, or having morning tea and lunch, was just the right mix. The time of the island sufficient to have a good look around and stretch the legs. His assistant, Ruby, who drove the bus was helpful and positive. I wish I could give a six star rating for this experience.

A full boat load in perfect conditions today, for a circumnavigation and guided walk. We ticked every wildlife box with whales, dolphins, sea Eagle, Shy Albatross, and seals; and on land, wombats, Tassie native hens, pademelons and wallabies, and cape Barren geese. Mike (captain) gave a brilliant clear commentary, and Ruby looked after us all with morning teas, lunches to order, drinks and then a very pleasant walk around the settlement. My hat off to them both and a huge thank you for an awesome day.

We had the most amazing day touring around Maria Is. The weather was great, we saw dolphins and seals, wombats and wallabies. The lunch was excellent, as was the service. Michael, Bella and Molly were outstanding, so knowledgeable and friendly. The small group size allowed for easy viewing and not feeling crowded or rushed. The edges of the island viewed from the water are truely spectacular.

Beautiful cruise seeing Maria island from the seaside. The cliffs and rock formation are very unique, including entering one of the limestone caves. The guide did a good job explaining everything. The chalking the island itself was also very enjoyable and we hmfot to see a lot of animals incl wombats, wallabies, kangaroos, and beautiful birds. The landscape is very pretty. You really should dress very warm and be ok with large waves abd getting wet. We went in spring, and even coming from a cold country I was surprised how cold it was. Several guess got seasick. The boat is covered but they open the sides and you will feel the wind and water very strongly, so please prepare extra well! It's worth it, just make sure you are up for it.
