The experience was absolutely incredible! Swimming with multiple manta rays was something I’ll never forget, and we saw so much more throughout the trip. What really made this experience stand out, though, was the staff. Every single crew member was so knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely passionate about what they do. They went above and beyond to make everyone feel comfortable, especially those who were less confident in the water, which made such a difference to the whole group. There was also a professional photographer on board who captured some amazing shots, and the photos were definitely worth the small additional fee. Overall, an unforgettable experience and without a doubt the highlight of our WA trip. Huge thank you to the team – you made it so special

It was just fantastic! The crew made time for everyone and was super friendly. I liked the food, there was plenty of food and drink. In the water I just had the best time, I will remember that forever. I am really grateful for the experience with everything that have seen underwater.

The best tour I have ever experienced. A full day of excitement and snorkeling. The guides were very helpful and highly professional. The tour also included a photographer Kris Chan who took beautiful underwater photos with various fish and turtles etc. A truly memorable experience — huge thanks to the entire team. I highly recommend it to everyone!

Wow!! What an absolutely beautiful day!! From start to finish this tour was absolutely amazing!! We swam with at least 6 manta rays, saw many sharks at the Shark cleaning station, saw at least 2 sea turtles and many many beautiful fish. And the crew were what made this day exceptional. They were all easy to get along with, enthusiastic and extremely knowledgeable. Would highly recommended this tour to anyone that loves snorkelling and wants to be completely blown away!!

A once in a lifetime experience! We had the magical privilege of being surrounded by 13 mantas for over an hour. The lone female manta circled our little group, being chased by 12 competing males. At times, it felt like we were the ones being herded. An experience like no other. In addition to this, we visited the turtle and shark cleaning stations, where we encountered around 25 reef sharks having their "day spa" with the little feeder fish darting all over them and into their mouths, for their floss and fluoride. ;-) At the turtle station were 3 turtles just swimming around, graceful and effortless as ever. The finale came by way of 3 dolphins surfing our waves on the journey home. The staff at Coral Bay Ecotours were all friendly, fantastic guides and equally excited by our swim/snorkel time. We were also lucky enough to have a professional photographer on board (credit for my underwater shots are all hers: Laura Gourgas Photography). Lunch on board was a simple affair, but plenty of tasty food. After our exhilarating swim, not even the gazillion flies could dampen our mood. Highly recommended!! But don't forget the Aeroguard!

An amazing day out with Paul and the crew. Well run, with knowledgeable crew -Liz, Ellie, Ellie and Kris. Three different experiences in one day with three drops to swim with the Mantas. Added bonus in seeing dolphins and swimming with the elusive wedge fish. The array of sea life - turtles, fish and reef sharks made the day!

This was my first time snorkeling and I absolutely loved it. I was a little nervous at the start, but I told the crew it was my first time and they were amazing. Chris and Ellie really looked after me, made sure I felt comfortable, and explained everything clearly. Seeing the manta ray and turtles was an unforgettable experience, and I’m so glad my first snorkel was with such a friendly and supportive team. I couldn’t have asked for a better introduction to snorkelling and would highly recommend this tour.

Wonderful day tour with lots of snorkeling and fine food. The crew was highly motivated and told us a lot about the marine and coral world. We were lucky enough to see mantas, turtles and sharks snorkeling. We were quite tired and satisfied in the evening from the many impressions.

POSITIVES. Swimming with Mantarays was an amazing experience at a bucket list level. As an added bonus we saw 9 x 1.5 metre reef sharks in a shark cleaning station where the sharks came in popped up in a 45 degree angle and opened their mouths. Smaller fish swam inside and cleaned their teeth. This was amazing and unexpected. The coral was some of the best in the world. We also saw a couple of turtles close and with good visibility. We also saw an octopus and lots of fish. They had spotter planes and this was essential. We also had three manta ray experiences. NEGATIVES Whilst most staff were friendly and knowledgeable, there was an exception. We waited from 7:45am and were not in the water until close to 9:20am (after a 5 min bus ride and a 20 min boat ride). We needed two bus trips to take everyone. This in itself was a 15+ min delay + other inefficiency. However, we were out for an extra 30 mins which offset this to some extent. There seemed like endless rules. Yes. We need to have rules but there are different ways to convey them. - They had rules that did not apply to their staff (photographer identified manta rays from their underside yet we never saw the underside and were not allowed to dive under the water. This was hypocritical. - The rules were impossible to follow. Float on the surface like a star but listen. Human beings cannot hear when their head is submerged underwater. Do not kick near the coral. However, they had 28 people in the water at the same time sometimes in shallow waters. This was way too many people at the same time for any wildlife in the wild experience. When you were behind someone else you were seeing the bubbles from their kicks. People were trying hard not to kick each other with their fins but it was unavoidable. I was then chastised twice by the person who appeared to be the boss. Once for getting too close to the coral when it was impossible to avoid and listen to the guide. There was not enough space with 28 people in the water. I understand that this is a commercial venture but this is way too many. The second time was when I did not hear the people telling me to stop whilst my head was underwater following the manta ray. I was told to swim with one ear out of the water (which means I could not have seen the manta ray properly) and to take the hood of my stinger suit off (whilst I did this, I suffered from severe sunburn as a result). There was still someone else following. The staff member chastised me did not want to listen just chastise and this soured the experience. Did not pickup from Exmouth but another tour did. I hired a car to book onto this one because it seemed to have the best reviews. Without the negatives mentioned, the experience would have been 6 stars.
