What To Expect
Your journey begins at the Shanghai Library Metro Station, where you’ll meet your guide and fellow foodies for a quick ice-breaker. We then head to the market, where you’ll receive a shopping list and use your newly learned Chinese phrases to secure your ingredients. After that, we'll transfer to our kitchen studio. Guided by a professional chef, you will learn the art of Chinese heat control and seasoning as you cook your own main course. Finally, sit down for a communal dinner to enjoy your creations, swap travel stories, and snap those perfect "Chef-mode" photos for your social media.

5.00Everything was perfectly organised from start to finish. Jasmine and William were amazing hosts who made the whole experience enjoyable, and I really liked chatting with them throughout the day. The experience began with choosing the dish I wanted to cook, followed by a visit to a local wet market where I selected the ingredients myself. During the cooking class, the chef explained every step of the process and shared many interesting facts about Chinese cuisine and its traditions. After cooking, we all sat down to enjoy the meal together, which was the perfect way to end the class. It was one of the best experiences during my stay in Shanghai, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic and memorable cooking experience.

5.00I had a great experience with Jasmine at the cooking experience. The format of the afternoon was perfect, with some time spent firstly at the market buying ingredients, and then the rest of the afternoon reserved for the cooking class. The work shop was very well organised and educational as well. Jasmine was very approachable and always there to help out when needed. Overall I would highly recommend this experience
