5.00The tour was just super cool! It was an incredible experience to stand on an active volcano. Abbott was the perfect guide – he explained an incredible amount to us and additionally gave us many valuable tips and recommendations for the rest of our trip. We would do the tour again anytime! 🌋✨ Is this conversation helpful so far?

1.00This might be an amazing thing to see on a good day, but if the clouds and steam block the lava lake it is a complete waste of time. We spent good money to see nothing. What a waste of time. Be warned because the tour website did not mention this potential situation.

5.00⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for Abbott and William, our tour guide and driver. After a tour of the museum, Abbott and William took us to rim of the volcano to view the activity. Since the rockfall last year and because of some of the gasses we experienced, the view was less than perfect, but we still got some awesome photos.

5.00Abbott was a wonderful tour guide! I am a solo female traveler so I base tours quickly on how safe I feel. I felt at ease with Abbott right away and knew it would be a great night. Masaya was slightly crowded the night we went but Abbott knew exactly where to go to get the best pictures. The views were stunning and Abbott’s photo taking skills were top notch. I also asked him if he could make a stop on the way and he easily accommodated. Ask for him when you book this tour!

3.00Was crowded and we had to wait ij a long line of cars both getting into the park and then to go up to the crater as they were only letting 15 cars at a time through. Luckily our driver was savvy enough to get us into the second group. The lava was partially obscured due to the wind causing smoke and gas to move around. Glad I went though

1.00The concept and the Volcano viewing is very cool. Our driver and tour guide were both excellent. The tour itself was terrible. We were asked to be ready an hour earlier so that we could see the sunset which we gladly accepted. We spent 3 hours in the van and missed the sunset completely. We were also told that we only had 7 minutes to see the crater before we had to leave. Best part: We werent even allowed to walk up to get the best view. This was the absolute biggest rip off. You should just drivs yourself or take a taxi and pay the entrance fee... this tour was pathetic. Again... not our guide or drivers fault.
