Our luau is less than one quarter the size of the average luau in Hawaii. So, every seat is a great view of the show.

What To Expect
Maui Luau: Gilligans' Island Luau in Kihei
Experience an Authentic Polynesian Luau in Kihei on the Island of Maui. Come see the traditional Polynesian evolution of Hawaiian, New Zealand, Tahitian Hula Dancers with a Samoan Fire Dancer finale. Show includes Hawaiian Musicians & Drummer and more! In an intimate setting with less than 1/3rd the capacity of most luaus, come have a great time experiencing the culture outside of a resort environment. Includes an open bar with tropical well drinks, red or white house wine, beer and all non-alcoholic beverage. Enjoy a full Hawaiian all you can eat buffet with Hawaiian Kalua Pork, Teriyaki Chicken, Panko-crusted Mahi Mahi with Lemon dill cream sauce, Hummus with vegetable crudites, Lomi Lomi Salmon, Mixed Vegetables, Mac Salad, Poi, White Rice, Molokai Sweet Potato, Green Salad w/Pineapple Vinaigrette dressing and Hawaiian Sweet Rolls with honey butter. For dessert, try Fresh Pineapple cubes, Chocolate Haupia Pie, White Chocolate Macadamia Nut Cookies, and Lilikoi Bars.

5.00This was my first Luau. The location was beautiful, right off the golf course. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. The buffet had a variety of food, which was all delicious. Since this was my first Luau, I didn't have anything to compare it to. My sister, on the other hand, who'd experienced luau's before, said this was a very quaint Luau and she appreciated the smaller audience. The others she'd gone to before had larger groups with seating not so close to the dancers. The host was entertaining as well. Photos were taken upon arrival and offered at the end if you choose to purchase. I searched online for Luau's and chose Gilligans' Luau because it happened to be one of the least expensive. So all around, it satisfied all of our needs. They offer general and VIP seating. There wasn't a bad seat there, so don't be afraid to purchase the general seating.

5.00It was a very entertaining show and experience, the food was delicious and a good variety of dishes. The MC was funny and beautiful. All the dancers were beautiful and a great representation of the Polynesian culture. We all loved it and had a great time, Mahalo.

5.00Loved the show, entertained and drew in crowd, imformative history, great humor and the dancers were TALENTED!! Food was great and traditional, we were in front VIP and I was afaid to get up and get more food or dessert, but totally could have.

5.00This is a fantastic, intimate luau (perhaps 100 people). The food & drinks were good; entertainment was absolutely wonderful; the setting was a lovely golf course with palm trees & mountains as a backdrop; price was very reasonable.

4.00Some information on promotional material was dated/inaccurate, e.g., the dessert haupia was in a promotion, and was a factor in selecting this venue, was not on the event menu and had never been on the menu because the five basic ingredients were not available in Hawaii for this hawaiian dish, though the ingredients as well as the dish seemed to be otherwise readily available on Maui. The manager was dismissive toward us. Otherwise, the food and the show were good.
